Kurdistan Save the Children (KSC) is an independent non-governmental children’s organisation, working in Iraq in general and Iraqi Kurdistan in particular. We have been around since 1991, founded by Ms. Hero Ibrahim Ahmed The Iraqi first lady and other dedicated people who believed in every child’s right to a troublefree childhood. We are working with children in various fields of child protection, sponsorship, health and education. Our main aim is to work directly or indirectly, to ensure a better future for all children, through improving and providing their various physical, medical, social, economical and educational needs.
