Bio: Cuyamaca College: Bishop, a 5-6 goalkeeper from Imperial Beach, Calif., is a transfer and college teammate of new Lady Braves Amber Webb and Kristi French at Cyuamaca College. She helped Cuyamaca to the 2008 Pacific Coast Conference Championship. Bishop earned first team All-PCC in 2007 and 2008 and was named Defensive MVP. Carley Bonnett 5-4 Fr. Defender Escondido, Calif. Escondido Bio: High School: Bonnett, a 5-4 defender, was a letter winner in soccer and softball for Escondido High School. She was named the Cougars’ MVP her freshman and sophomore seasons and was selected most spirited in soccer by her teammates in 2008. Amber Webb 5-5 Jr. Midfielder/Forward Santee, Calif. Cuyamaca College Bio: Cuyamaca College: Webb, a 5-5 forward/midfielder, is from Santee, Calif. and is a transfer from Cuyamaca College. She will have two years of eligibility remaining. Webb was a two year letter winner for Cuyamaca and was a two-time first team all-conference performer. High School: At West Hills, she was a first team All-CIF selection and earned first team all-conference honors. Webb helped her team to a state cup, helped led them to the semifinals at nationals and was part of the team that won the CIF championship her freshman year. Bio: High School: Segura, a 5-4 forward, attended Clear Creek High School. She was a four year varsity letterwinner for the Wildcats. She helped her high school team to the state playoffs in 2006, 2007 and again in 2008. Segura helped them to the 24-5A District Championship in 2007. She also spearheaded the number one ranked defense in the Houston, Texas area. Segura helped lead her team to the USYNC State Cup with a third place finish in 2004, a fourth place finish in 2005 and again in 2006. She earned 2006 CCHS Varsity Defensive Player of the Year, received first team All-District 24-5A first team selection in 2006 and again in 2007, was her teams overall MVP in 2007, earned All-County second team defender in 2007, was a 2007 5A Girls All-Region selection, received the 2008 CCHS Varsity Offensive MVP in 2008, was selected to the 2008 Gulf Coast Classic All-tournament team, earned 2008 All-District 24-5A first team forward and was named NSCAA/Adidas All-Region IV in 2008. She was a 2006 All-Metro Conference selection, earned all-district in 2007 and again in 2008, was named MVP in 2008 and was selected to the All-City team in 2008.
