For me, weddings are about more than one ’big’ day… It’s more than the font you’ve carefully selected to use on each of your guest’s place-cards, it’s more than the colour of your bridesmaids dresses and it’s more than the flowers you’ve chosen for the bouquets… Although, all of those things require careful planning and consideration! A wedding is all about celebrating your love, the love of your family & friends and the choice you have made to be together for the rest of your lives… (not to mention the damn good celebration that follows!)

My style philosophy is pretty simple. I like to take photographs that I think will stand the test of time. Beautiful photography for any era. Much like the iconic images of Grace Kelly and Marilyn Munroe from decades past, a natural and relaxed photograph of a bride on her wedding day can be a beautiful photograph in any decade. When you look back at your photographs in 10, 20 or 50 years time, my style will hopefully still bring you smiles and maybe even a few tears, as you relive your beautiful day. I take an unobtrusive, photo-journalistic approach to much of the day, capturing the authentic moments and emotions as they unfold, without being ‘in your face’. I try to avoid cheesy clichés and bridal portraits will be relaxed and easy-going by simply using the natural surroundings. While some parts of the day might require some guidance (like ensuring you’re standing in the right light or guiding your family through the group photos), the rest of the time I prefer to blend in with your guests and capture the genuine celebration going on. I’m a fully accredited member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography and I’m based in the north-west of Sydney. I capture a lot of local weddings, but I love destination weddings too… so it doesn’t matter how near, far, imitate or grand your plans might be, I’d be honoured to be there to capture all the love and personality that’s gone into it!
Photographing a wedding day is not only an honour and privilege, it’s a very personal experience. This may seem an obvious piece of advice, but in the rush and stress of planning, it can be overlooked. You should choose a wedding photographer who's pictures you really LOVE and one that you’re excited about booking. Our styles are all different and unique (like fingerprints) and there are many amazing photographers out there — so choose one you are comfortable with and who’s images will represent your personalities and style. The day goes by in flash, but photographs will keep it alive forever. As I only accept a small number of bookings each year, it’s important to me to build great relationships with my clients. Not only will this ensure that we have a great connection, but it will help you be more relaxed and comfortable with my camera around all day! If you’re relaxed, comfortable and having fun, your images will reflect that. A meeting with me will also give you the opportunity to see a selection of sample photo books and to chat more about your plans for the big day! I normally meet at a café in Castle Hill or in the city (Sydney), but if you’re not able to meet me in person, that’s ok… We can meet over Skype too! To book, a signed contract and a $1,000 non-refundable retainer payment will secure your date, with the balance of your package due 30 days before your wedding. A contract is available on email and all payments will be followed up with a receipt for your records. Press books are professionally printed, stitched and handbound hardcover books that have your photographs printed directly onto the pages (sometimes called magazine or coffee table albums). Choose between landscape, portrait or a square design, with a selection of coloured linen, deluxe or printed photo finishes. Each press book includes 50 pages/sides (25 spreads) on premium photo paper stock and is accompanied with a hardcover box for beautiful presentation and safe keeping.
Flushmount albums are the ultimate in contemporary albums. They retain the thick pages of a traditional wedding album, whilst making the most of modern print technology. Flushmount albums have your photographs printed and mounted directly onto the thick page stock and can be personalised with a range of cloth or leather finishes. Each flushmount album includes 30 pages/sides (15 spreads) on premium thick pages with archival paper and is accompanied with a beautiful velvet bag for beautiful presentation and safe keeping.

Couples (or engagement sessions as they are sometimes called) are highly recommended as they are not only a great way help you to get used to being in front of the camera, but they can be used for all sorts of things like ‘save the date’ notices, engagement thank you cards or you can even use them to put together your guest book for the wedding! They’ll give you insight into the way I work and what the wedding day might be like, so that when it comes time for the bridal portraits on the day, you’ll be ready and relaxed, resulting in more natural and beautiful photographs.
Each session includes: 2 hours of photography at a location of your choice (within 1 hour of Sydney) A disc of edited images (in both high and low resolution).

second photographers I usually work as the sole photographer (and all the weddings you see on my website were captured by myself), however if you are getting ready a fair distance apart, then a second photographer is a great way to capture you both simultaneously! I have some very talented photographers that can be booked to come along as well.

site inspections A specific location or venue scout, done with the bride and groom, to pre-select sites for bridal portraits on the day. Additional travel may apply for locations outside the Sydney metro area.

classic framed prints Made from plantation grown timbers, frames are clean, contemporary and affordable. Prints can be matted in black or white board.

prints | enlargements If you’d rather we produce some professional, high quality prints for you (to save you the time and hassle) we have a wonderful range of print sets and enlargements to choose from. You can ask for a quote, or we have a wonderful online ordering system! Once your wedding or couples session has been uploaded to your private gallery, simply choose from a variety of print sizes, mounted-prints or frames (ready for you to hang) from the drop-down menu options. Simple!
Fine art framed prints feature a unique style of 'torn edge' print, floating in a shadow-box style frame. Each print is finished with a special protective coating to ensure its longevity and can be matted and framed in black or white.
