YOUTH OF THE YEAR
Since 1947, Youth of the Year has been Boys & Girls Club of America’s premier recognition program, celebrating the extraordinary achievements of Club teens. Through their time at the Club, these teens have exemplified the Boys & Girls Club mission and are proof the impact Clubs make in changing and saving lives.
Candidates who have competed in the YOY Academy and Competition have gone on to GREAT success. YOY is arguably the most impactful and rewarding event of the year!

Bryden K.
2017 Hawaii State Youth of the Year Lihue Clubhouse-Bryden is currently studying Hospitality Management at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is the president of the schools `Ewalu Club and is making a strong effort to engage in volunteer work in his community.

Isabella S.
2022 Hawaii State Youth of the Year Charles Honolulu Clubhouse- Isabella is currently Chapman University studying Broadcast Documentary. In her free time she coaches basketball and is engaging with Boys & Girls in Orange County for participation in sports.
