OUTDOOR PORTRAIT SESSION
KristeenMarie Photography offers two different types of family photography – in-home lifestyle sessions and outdoor portrait sessions. Regardless of the session type that you choose the goal of the session is to capture your family as they are – real emotion, real relationships, real happiness (and occasionally a few tears too). In this document you will get an explanation of both session types along with some tips to make your session successful. For both types of sessions, Kristeen’s style is photo journalistic. She loves capturing families at play, snuggling, being goofy, and just loving on each other. She will always do her best to get that one desired shot of everyone looking and smiling. For the most part, the session will consist of piggyback rides, encouraging dads to show off their kid-flipping skills, having little ones give their moms BEST hugs EVER, and fun stuff like that.

In-Home Lifestyle Photography Custom in-home lifestyle photography is offered in Indianapolis and the surrounding areas. Lifestyle photography is also sometimes called A Day in the Life Photography. The goal of a lifestyle session is to capture your family as they really are – the real you. Kristeen will come to your home to shoot you and your family in their natural setting. Your gallery will tell the story of your daily life - a true and real representation of your family. Expect lots of emotion and feeling to come out of the images.
During a lifestyle photography session you should plan a few activities around the house or in the yard. The activities should be something that you and your family enjoy doing. Here are a few example ideas: • • • • • • • • •
Reading a favorite story Baking cookies Taking a bath Blowing bubbles Cuddling on mom and dad’s bed Playing board games Riding bikes Eating a meal You can also leave the house and get coffee or go to your favorite park
Lifestyle sessions are not limited on time but typically last about 2 hours. The cost for the session includes all your edited high resolution images. Because lifestyle sessions are done in your home, they match your home and make great wall art. Kristeen offers professionally printed products including canvases, prints, and albums. Lifestyle photography is for families of all ages and sizes. From newborns to teenage children to elderly couples. Everyone has their own real - let’s capture yours!

Outdoor Portrait Sessions Even though this session is called a portrait session it will be anything but what the name infers. Kristeen’s style is photojournalistic even when it comes to portraits. Your children will laugh and play and in the process they will have their picture taken. Outdoor portrait sessions are great for families of all sizes and age ranges. Just like in-home lifestyle sessions, the goal of an outdoor portrait session is to capture your family as it is – natural, true and real. You will get a few posed pictures but the majority of the session will be about having fun and interacting with your children. The session can be done at any outdoor location. If you don’t have a location in mind, Kristeen has a list of favorite locations. Be sure to reach out to her for suggestions if you need help picking a place. All outdoor sessions are shot in the evening for optimal lighting. The time frame of this will depend upon the season and the sun. This is typically 1-2 hours before sunset. Please work with Kristeen to come up with the ideal time for your session.

Costs and Products Session - Regardless of the session that you choose the cost for a family session is $700. That cost includes 1 – 2 hours of shooting time during the session and digital files of your edited images and non-commercial photo release. You will also receive an online proofing/printing gallery (see image prints below for more information on this). A $100 deposit is required to reserve your date. Coffee Table Album – The albums are high quality professionally printed books with museum quality paper and prints. The cost for an album is $200. If you order an album when you book your session you will receive $50 off the album.
Grandparent Album – This is our most popular product. The albums are 5x7 have 10 pages. The pages are hard and thick. You will LOVE the quality of this album. The albums are affordable enough to give as gifts and to purchase one for you as well. The cost of the album is $60. Canvas Prints – Canvas prints are a great way to decorate your home! There is no need to mess with frames or matting as they look great on the wall all by themselves. There are a wide range of canvas sizes offered. Please ask for the canvas pricing sheet if you are interested in canvas prints. Image Prints – It is important to have your images professionally printed. Why pay someone good money to take high quality images if you aren’t going to spend the few extra pennies to have them printed the right way? With every session you will receive an online proofing gallery. You can print all your images professionally through that gallery at reasonable prices. Print costs start at $.55 for a 4x6. Kristeen makes the costs as affordable as possible so you can have your images printed the right way!
