Kris Jou, a Taiwanese who grew up in the Philippines and loves both countries equally. I have been using Adobe applications for more than 10 years because they are my bridge to all my hobbies and interests: art, photography, computers, and food. When I'm not in front of my laptop, I enjoy traveling, videogaming, cycling, reading books and building model kits.

FRIENDSHIP

For an organization that sponsors UN events, Friendship Ambassadors Foundation needs to resonate with diverse nationalities. I was honoured to work for them from 2011-2014 and contribute to their global mission of youth exchange, development and mentorship. One of the most challenging projects was the CD cover for an album featuring five different ambassadors singing covers of what I would call "world peace" songs. I also did a website redesign.

making vector arts because it is both a way to express creativity amd to create with minimum amount of waste. No discarded papers, no residue from erasing pencils, no dirty hands, just me and my computer.

For much of 2020-2022, I was filming and doing photoshoots of the processes for The Cloud Tea's bestselling drinks, to promote their brand by demonstrating their use of premium and fresh fruits and tea.

Baking is among my biggest hobbies, and I had even worked in pastry shops for years. While graphic and video design may seem unrelated to baking, they are now more than ever a requirement in running a successful baking brand. Without good digital advertisements, a bakeshop will remain in obscurity. Knowing good design concepts will also be crucial in creating show stopping products.

All of my skills in photography, filming video and editing videos are learned as my way of making my pastries more presentable.
