Phi Phi Sunset Cruise A highlight tour on Bugis sailing yacht

first waves under us; my mind rides to the open sea, allowing me to sail like an old sailor. My eyes lose their way on the distance, where there is no border between the waves and the overlapping of the clouds, while my hand feels the vibration of an imaginary helm, as if I had always been a sailor, in control of the rocking of the boat… 11:30 Arrival at Maya Bay – lunch. …And so I am anchoring my boat off my favourite rock, when a voice awakes me from my mind’s wanderings. The guide helps me get off the boat and lay my feet on a beach, its white sand the consistency of powder. He tells me of the beauty of this island, already dubbed a “legend of cinema”. It feels so nice to be able to enjoy a swim in its crystalline waters. Meanwhile the chef on board is preparing the lunch; a team of longtail boats takes us back on board, to find our generous buffet-style Thai lunch nicely set and waiting for us. Several sea eagles fly over our heads, to indicate the numerous fish that swim inches from the waterline. We are given long enough time to appreciate this Today’s destination is the world-renowned Phi Phi Islands archipelago. There are about 40 people onboard impressive Bugis sailing yacht, coming from Finland, Germany, Italy and more countries. All looking forward to a trip that promises lots of sea and sand. I am quite anxious to depart actually. I finally lean my feet on the warm wood of the deck. I enjoy the smooth sailing, lazing between the bridge and the bow of the vessel, spoiling myself on a trip that will catapult us far from the noise of engines and the chatter of too many people. Far to tropical islands. I find my comphy position on the open air; others have already laid towels on the lounge chairs and lay down enjoying the warm sun. I listen to the staff introduction and to a description of our destinations of the day, while I feel the moving of the
