Kaitlyn Bergman of Garrett received a sewing machine for her ninth birthday and has become an expert pillow maker. With some encouragement from friends, Kaitlyn began selling her pillows at craft shows this year. With her love for volunteering at the DeKalb Humane Society, she used her profit to buy items for the shelter. She delivered her items on Dec. 23, just in time for Christmas. She is the daughter of Kelly and Ali Bergman.
