Running Butler Days run/ walk is Saturday BUTLER — The Butler Days Festival run/ walk event will take place Saturday. Registration is at 7:30 a.m., with the race to begin at 8 a.m. Registration will take place in the east parking lot at the Butler Police Department, 201 N. Broadway (S.R. 1), north of the stoplight in Butler. Cash prizes will be awarded

to first-, second- and third-place for men and women. Entry forms are available at R&R Fitness, 101 E. Main St. (U.S. 6) at the stoplight in Butler. For more information, call Ron Mausteller at 868-1540.

Ashley Lang of St. Joe won several awards at the DeKalb County Summer Doe Show in July. Her doe won grand champion boer doe, as well as champion junior boer doe, champion and reserve champion senior boer doe, champion get of sire (two does, same sire), champion best group of three does, and champion two does dames.
