Diverse group shows promising future for region We at Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly could not be more honored to present such a n well-deserving class this year with Forty Under 40 awards. The individuals in this class represent the diverse fabric of northeast Indiana’s industries and cultures. Some of the names in this class are well Editor recognized, due to the individuals’ involvement in major community projects or organizations. Others made the list because day after day, they quietly but consistently perform good work – whether it be on the job, in their communities or both. Some in the class are business owners and some are managers. Yet, others are still grinding it out in entry-level positions but, clearly, not

going unnoticed doing so. Not all of this year’s recipients are northeast Indiana natives, and several even grew up outside the United States. While some have had to overcome more challenges than others, no one would be on this list if hard work and determination wasn’t part of each individual’s make up. This is why reading about each of the Fort Under 40 winners is so inspiring. This award is simply one stepping stone for them on the journey of life. They have many more accomplishments to achieve beyond this recognition. We appreciate all of the friends, bosses, colleagues and family who took time to nominate these individuals, as well as the many other individuals who are not listed in this year’s class. The amount of nominations we receive is astounding and encouraging for our region as leaders work to create an attractive quality of place that helps drive economic development by keeping talent in northeast Indiana. Congratulations to this year’s winners and we can’t wait to see what you do next within our community.
