Brian May UNITED UTILITIES GROUP Brian was appointed to the Board of United Utilities Group in September 2012. He is a member of the Nomination Committee and Audit and Risk Committee. Brian has been Finance Director at Bunzl since 2006. Prior to this he held roles at Bunzl as Group Treasurer and Finance Director, Europe and Australasia, having joined the company in 1993 as Internal Audit Manager. Brian qualified as a Chartered Accountant ACA with KPMG and holds a BSc in Actuarial Science.
Neil McConachie L ANCASHIRE HOLDINGS Neil was appointed to the Lancashire Holdings Board in June 2012. He is a member of the Investments Committee. Neil had previously worked at the Lancashire Group from February 2006 to June 2012 and during that time held the roles of Chief Financial Officer, Chief Risk Officer and President. He also served as an Executive Member of the Board of Directors. Prior to this Neil was Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Accounting Officer of Montpelier Re Holdings. He has extensive involvement in debt and equity capital markets transactions, including the Initial Public Offerings of Lancashire and Montpelier. Before joining Montpelier, Neil worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in London and Bermuda and at Stockton Holdings. Neil has a BA in Accounting and Finance from Heriot-Watt University and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.
