ALFRED Alfred Restaurant was opened in June 2010 and has quickly become one of Aker Brygges hot spots. Opened by the renowned restaurateurs Terje Ness and Rune Pal, Alfred Restaurant is situated in the same building as the Nobel Peace Center on the main square in front of Aker Brygge. Restaurant Alfred is compiled by a restaurant, café and a wonderful outdoor terrace. The outdoor terrace is a favourite, with breathtaking views of Aker Brygge, Rådhusplassen and Akershus fortress. On the inside, Alfred´s interior is quite modern with colours of green and black being dominant. The atmosphere is relaxed with an interesting clientèle which varies from business to pleasure. During lunch-time there is an Á la carte menu which includes todays course as well as other tasty meals suitable for business and pleasure. In the evening Alfred offers an exciting 3-4-5 course menu with focus on great Norwegian ingredients and modern presentation. 48
