Manufacturing ● KURO is manufactured by OIKAWA-DENIM famous for its world standard technique. ● We use a t wo-fold yar n made from single white and golden-brow n yar ns which gives our products great strengt h. Because we use cotton yar n, t he color fades f rom t he fabr ic after factor y distressing and dur ing use, which produces t he feel and look of used clot hing. ● T he hand-made st yle stitches on t he front, back and coin pockets are t he most notable features, and plain seam stitching is also done in t he same color.

A s t his technolog y is only available in a limited number of factor ies, t he manufactur ing process is t w ice as long as is standard. ● T hin yar ns were used for par ts where hand-stitching was per for med, and because needlework was also ver y f ine, pucker ing (fabr ic t w ists caused due to seam shr inkage by sew ing, and pulling) may well appear when washed. ● Belt loops were also sew n in a unique way, w it h stitching inter vals t hat created bumps to give of f a v intage look. As key points such as yar n t hick ness and stitch w idt h are modif ied, t he stitching has a solid, t hree-dimensional look. ●糸は単糸 ( 金茶 ) と単糸 ( 白 ) を合わせた双糸を使用しているため強度があります。また、綿糸を使 用しているため、加工後や履き込んでいくうちに糸の色も抜け、古着のような色や風合いが出ます。 ●フロントやバック、コインポケット部分に施されたハンドメイド風のステッチが最大の特 徴で、さらに 同色の糸で地 縫いをしています。これは限られた工場にしかない技術な上、通常に比べ 2 倍の工程を 踏むという手間もかかっています。 ●ハンドステッチ部分の糸は細めのものを使用しており、運針も細かいため洗いをかけた際にパッカリ ング ( 縫い縮みやひきつれによる生地のゆがみ ) が出やすくなっています。 ●ベルトループにも、ステッチ間に山が できるようなヴィンテージらしい独特の縫 製がされています。 その他にも、糸の太さやステッチ幅などを要所で変えているため、ステッチが立体的に見えるようになっ ています。
