Christmas At Komedia - In 5 Easy Steps! The earlier you book tickets, the more money you’ll save! Here at Komedia Bath we understand how difficult it can be to organise a Christmas party for your friends, family or colleagues. Thankfully we’ve put together this handy guide, with all of the information you’ll need about our fantastic Christmas shows!
Step 1: Choose a show & date This Christmas we have an incredible lineup of shows throughout the festive period. We have our award-winning Krater Christmas Party comedy shows, as well as The Noise Next Door’s Comedy Lock-In, with the hilarious improv five-piece performing a show like no other. More interested in cabaret? How about The Ministry Of Burlesque’s Twisted Cabaret? New to Komedia is The Social Club Circus Cabaret - Big Night Out, expect a night of high-octane circus fun! Turn to pages 3 & 4 to read all about all of our Christmas events.
Step 2: Book your tickets You can book your tickets online (www.komedia.co.uk/bath/christmas), over the phone (0845 293 8480) or in person at Komedia Bath. Please remember that all Christmas 2014 orders are subject to a booking fee per ticket (£1 p/ticket online, £1.50 p/ticket on the phone). We also have Christmas Meal & Show Group Tickets (saving £5 per person) for selected Christmas shows - see page 4 for more details!
Step 3: Pre-order your food Komedia Bath were crowned proud winners of Taste Of The West’s Best Christmas Menu 2013 competition, and we’ve devised an even more delicious menu than last year! Turn to page 5 for more details. Head to our website (www.komedia.co.uk/bath/christmas) and download the Christmas 2014 food pre-order form, complete it, and email it back to us by Monday 24th November.
Step 4: Arriving at Komedia Bath If you have booked Christmas Meal & Show tickets please arrive at Komedia between 6:00pm - 6:30pm. For all other tickets, please arrive by 8:00pm, this will give you adequate time to get settled before the show begins at 8:30pm. Don’t forget your confirmation email - either bring a print-out, or show our event staff on a smartphone when you arrive!

The Best Christmas Menu In Bath! Starters MSC certified seafood cocktail, with lemon, paprika and organic leaves. Paxton & Whitfield goat’s cheese, roast butternut squash & hazelnut salad. Locally sourced Parma ham with our own apple, fig & pear chutney and local pea shoots.

All mains served with our own herb-roasted potatoes and a selection of seasonal vegetables. Style Farm free range turkey served with our unique sage, onion & farm-assured pork sausage wrapped in bacon and topped with a rich red wine gravy. Style Farm 28-day matured farm assured strip-loin of beef served with our homemade horseradish stuffing. Wild mushroom & cashew nut roast topped with our own cranberry sauce. Wing of St. Mawes poached salmon fillet served with an organic champagne & pink peppercorn sauce.

Dietary Requirements & Information At Komedia Bath we are proud to have been named Taste of the West’s best Christmas menu 2013 and we believe our 2014 Christmas menu is even better! Our menus are the first in Bath to attain the Soil Association GOLD standard, ensuring all our meals are freshly prepared, free from unwanted additives and based around local, seasonal produce from producers who operate to high farm standards. We understand that our customers are unique, so we’re offering a Christmas menu that we hope everyone can enjoy! How to Pay & Deposit Options If you book online (at www.komedia.co.uk/bath/christmas) you will need to pay the balance in full when you book. If you book over the phone (via the Komedia box office on 0845 293 8480) you can either pay the full balance, or secure your booking with a minimum 20% (non-refundable) deposit. Further details of when to pay the full balance for your booking are listed below: All Christmas 2014 Tickets: Full payment for bookings must be made no later than one week after the initial deposit, or one week before the date of the show (whichever is the sooner). Komedia charges an additional booking fee per ticket. (£1.00 p/ticket online, or £1.50 p/ticket over the phone). We charge a booking fee on every ticket to cover the administrative costs of our booking system. If you are able to come into Komedia Bath and pay cash, there is no booking charge to pay. Please note: We do not offer refunds or exchanges for customers who are unable to attend an event.
Ticket Confirmation Email Komedia Bath is a ticketless venue. Once you have paid for your tickets in full you will receive a confirmation email. Please bring a copy of this with you or show it to our door staff on a smartphone. If you need your confirmation email to be resent, please contact infobath@komedia.co.uk or call the Komedia Box Office on 0845 293 8480.
Pre-Ordering Your Food & Drink All food for your party needs to be pre-ordered. Once you have booked your tickets you will need to download the food pre-order form from our website (www.komedia.co.uk/bath/christmas), complete it and return it to us. Please list the names of everyone attending and their choice of starter, main course and desert. The pre-order form will need to be returned to us by email (christmas@komedia.co.uk) before Monday 24th November. Here at Komedia Bath we understand that our customers are unique, so we’re offering a Christmas menu that we hope everyone can enjoy! Selected dishes from the menu have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free replacement options, please refer to the full menu (page 5) for more information or email christmas@komedia.co.uk. Parties can also pre-order drinks to be sent to their table on arrival at Komedia Bath, please see the Christmas food & drink pre-order form for more details. Payment for drinks is taken on the evening of your booking.
Seating Seating in the main auditorium is shared, cabaret style seating. We will allocate seats for your party. We ask that you arrive as early as possible to ensure that your party is able to sit together. If you are a large group you may be seated on tables adjacent to each other. Balcony seats are unreserved, rowed cinema style seats. Unfortunately we cannot accept or guarentee any requests for preferential seating arrangements. Please contact us if you have specific access requirements, our front of house team will do their best to accommodate the needs of your party. After the show finishes, we ask patrons to vacate their tables and chairs in the auditorium to make way for an after-show disco until late. Due to space constraints we regret that we cannot reserve a table for any group once the regular show has finished.
Frequently Asked Questions Ticket Options All Christmas 2014 tickets include entry to an after-show disco or our Motorcity club night (Saturday nights only). Christmas Meal & Show tickets: Arrive between 6:00pm and 6:30pm for your three course Christmas meal. Stay in your seats after the meal and receive full table service throughout the show. Show-only Auditorium tickets: Arrive between 6:30pm and 8:00pm and take your seats at long cabaret-style tables in our Auditorium. Full table service is available whilst you enjoy the show. Available on selected dates - see page 4 for more information. Show-only Balcony tickets: Watch the show from on high in our balcony in unreserved rowed cinema-style seats. Arrive between 6:30pm and 8:00pm. Available on selected dates - see page 4 for more information. VIP Tickets (for Krater Comedy Club only): Arrive between 6:00pm and 6:30pm for Prosecco and nibbles before enjoying a three-course meal in our Arts Café. After your meal move to the main auditorium where you will have reserved seating for the show. Meal Deal (for Krater Comedy Club only): Arrive between 6:30pm and 7:30pm and order from our event menu. The price includes the price of your ticket and a main course. Stay in your seats for the comedy and receive full table service whilst you enjoy the show.
Wheelchair Access Komedia Bath has full wheelchair access in our auditorium space, including easy access to a disabled toilet. If any members of your party do require extra assistance, please let us know when you make a booking.
VAT Receipts & Invoices We understand that a lot of our bookings are office Christmas parties and we are happy to supply invoices or VAT receipts for your Christmas party booking - please just email christmas@komedia.co.uk and ask!
Dress Code There is no dress code at Komedia, and fancy dress is welcome.
Club Rules We love big groups at Komedia; it’s the perfect place to celebrate! At Komedia Bath we want everyone (patrons, performers and our staff) to enjoy themselves during the Christmas shows. Please note that we do have a couple of strict house rules: • Age restrictions for our Christmas 2014 events are 18+ (apart from The Noise Next Door’s Comedy Lock-In which is 16+) • No talking or ‘heckling’ while performers are on stage. We do ask people to leave if they spoil the enjoyment of other patrons or frequently interrupt during the show.
