Welcome to our Summer 2017 Programme! Welcome to Komedia Bath’s summer brochure! We’re delighted to be able to bring such a diverse and exciting array of comedy, music, film and community events to the city this summer - there really is something for everyone! It’s hard to believe nearly a decade has passed since we undertook our million pound plus investment to bring life and laughter back to a venue which had been left derelict for seven years. We are very proud to have evolved our independent business into a lively entertainment hub for the communities of Bath and the South West, and we’re grateful for the all support we’ve received in return. To continue the journey - and to cement the future of Komedia Bath for the long-term - we are developing new and exciting entrepreneurial plans which will include a much greater community involvement… watch this space! It is a hugely positive, affirming and inspirational film, exploring creative solutions to the crises humanity faces. It has been a huge boost to community-led projects, regularly receiving standing ovations, and leading to the formation of many new community projects. It is the perfect antidote to the current sense of global despondency. The evening will conclude with a Q&A led by Rob Hopkins, founder of The Transition Network, to explore how the positives drawn from the film can have a real impact on life in Bath.
