36 Húsabakki is located in Svarfaðardalur 5 km from the town of Dalvik where one can find a ferry to the island Grimsey, and around 30 minutes’ drive from Akur eyri and Siglufjordur. Husabakki is ranked as a three star campsite and its location is ideal for those who want explore the north ern part of Iceland as most of the most beautiful nature sites of northern part of Iceland are within two hours drive from Husabakki. Services on site: Electricity, show ers, washing machines and dryer, barbeque, play area for children, miniature golf, various hiking options that offer bird watching, at the nature reserve of Svarfadardalur, Husabakki hosts the bird exibition www.birdland.is. The camping place is open from May till autumn, until the first snow sets.

Húsabakki im Tal Svarfaðardalur liegt etwa 5 km südöstlich von Dalvik, ca. 30 Autominuten von Akureyri und Siglufjordur entfernt. Husabakki ist ein Drei-Sterne-Campingplatz, mit idealer Lage für diejenigen, die Nord-Island erkunden wollen. Die meisten der schönsten Naturschutzgebiete des nördlichen Teil von Islands sind innerhalb von zwei Autostunden von Husabakki erreichbar. Dienstleistungen vor Ort: Strom, Duschen, Wasch maschinen und Trockner, Grillplatz, Kinderspielplatz, Mini golf. Es gibt verschiedene Wandermöglichkeiten, sowie die Möglichkeit der Vogelbeobachtung im Naturschutzgebiet

von Svarfaðardalur. Husabakki beherbergt die Vogel ausstellung www.birdland.is. Weiterhin fährt von Dalvik regelmäßig eine Fähre auf die Insel Grimsey. Der Campingplatz ist von Mai bis zum Herbst (bis zum ersten Schneefall) geöffnet. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Campingcard während des alljährlichen Festes Fiskidagur inn mikli (5.–7. August) nicht gültig ist.
Lodging tax (111 ISK pr night) is not included in the Campingcard. Bitte beachten! Die Übernachtungssteuer (111 kr. Wohneinheit pro Nacht) ist nicht in der Camping-Card enthalten.
