DYSTOPIA. INTERNET KILLS. GLOWING SHADOW. THE LADY. AIRNYTHING. MAGIC HANDS. TANGLED NEGATIVE. ABOUT ME.

DYSTOPIA Don’t trust your mind, your dreams, your wishes. They can turn into your worst nightmares. Butterflies, flowers, soft light - things typically associated with sweetness, happyness and well-being. What if I convince you of the contrary? That is what my mind tells me about how I perceive traditional kitsch.

INTERNET KILLS Social networks. smartphones - updating themselves. Tablets - internet to go. Virtual friends and communities. Missing his trainstation. Don’t live virtual. Internet kills: You might distance yourself from your friends, your family and anything that surrounds you. Don’t let it destroy your psyche or control your conscience and mind. Don’t kill yourself and don’t lose sight of your trainstation.

GLOWING SHADOW Why should shadows always be black or gray? Why should spotlights create the same light every time? Imagine of a colourful shoot. A pink shadow from a blue light. Impossible? Look at this.

THE LADY I know, you’ve seen that so many times before. This shoot shows my personal interpretation. A tattooed model, perfectly fitting into our modern century - still a lady. Together with her best friend “Big Boss“. (Have a look on the side table)

AIRNYTHING Cuteness is in the air. It seems perfect, soft and enchanting. But does it attract your mind? Or mine? With this shoot I want to present you bitter cold atmosphere coupled with pretty make up and pleasure- associated balloons. Another shoot which shows how opposed I am to such “lovely” and “sweetly” things. Enjoy my anything: airnything.

MAGIC HANDS What does music mean to you? This shoot reveals what a successful music producer has on his mind while he creates new and exclusive sounds for our mainstream damaged ears.

TANGLED NEGATIVE So, what in the world did I have on my mind during this shoot? Honestly, I don’t know exactly. I had an idea. Negative. A headword which formed this creative and pecullar photographes. Photography matched with graphic design, mixed negative and positive colours and areas of face and everything around. And I really like the result. Do you?

ABOUT THE CREATOR When I was a young girl aged 8, my father gave me my first camera. It was formed like “Pikachu“, a Pokémon-figure from a childseries. When I developed these photographs, many little Pokémons were printed as a frame on them. So cute! Wherever I have gone, my camera became my companion. Like my father who has also been a photographer, I loved it. During my schooldays my career aspiration got certain - I want to become a photographer. I studied at Cologne Design Academy and gained experiences and eagerness to experiment. This Diploma does not only give me a grade, it made me mature and offered me

a feeling of independence. I learned to listen to myself and follow my mind to create my own ideas and develop them to differs photo shoots. I recognized that beauty shoots and fashion are not my way to tell a story. Fascinated and inspired of photographers like David LaChapelle and John Rankin Waddell my aim is to show how differently things can be interpreted and transformed in photography. If the atmosphere is harmonious and “cute“ I try to add a creepy touch. If there are placed round-shaped and perfect things I use hard cuts and unusual formats. In my opinion most ideas are burdened with conventionality. And that is how I say goodbye to ordinary things.
