Global Touch was founded in 1990 by its President and CEO, Denise Sangster, as a hybrid computing, consumption era strategy and go-to-market transformation consulting organization, focusing on its partners and partner ecosystems. It concentrates on increasing its technology clients’ revenues by supporting partners with a product portfolio, programs, and benefits (incentives, investments, etc.) needed to deliver the outcomes customers need and want for this year and years ahead.
Since Global Touch was founded, one of its core disciplines has been to use data, data-led storytelling, and metrics to help clients understand the economics of building predictable and profitable revenue streams through partners and partner ecosystems.
Global Touch was founded to provide 360° synchronization between IT companies, customers, and partners in three areas: Alignment, Acceleration, and Predictability in revenue, growth, profit, and value.
Impressively, it has represented everything from startups to Fortune 500, FT 500 companies, and Nikkei 100 companies, which has built up a world-class reputation in delivering actionable insights that help shape future direction for sustainable revenue growth through partners.
What makes Global Touch a Global award-winning company is its extensive global field expertise to ensure it keeps on top of current trends, emerging opportunities, and threats as part of balancing current performance with the need to transform to be ready for what’s next.
Global Touch’s unique approach is to deliver the answers they were retained to provide, not just answers the client wants to hear. This outlook is part of Sangster’s philosophy to treat all clients as clients for life.
The birth of a business takes many directions and can be very overwhelming for some, perhaps as a pipeline dream that never surfaces. As a new business owner and entrepreneur, Denise, an American female working globally, did not yet have the global reputation she felt she needed to fuel her career. To address this challenge, she became a columnist, writing articles for IT publications across Europe, America, and Australia. Through her resilience, Denise fought past the Europeans’ initial resistance to have an American female helping with the growth of the European IT market.

Conceptualized 30 years ago, this globally renowned company has made a significant mark in its niche. Today, Global Touch embodies the path to innovation, and it strives for excellence through world class customer experiences and success measured by achieving outcomes through anticipated and unforeseen roads to success.
So where do they go from here? Well, going from strength to strength, continually finding new ways to ‘up’ their game to raise that all important bar, they have ideas in the works that will be ready later this year.
…To find out what they are, we will have to watch this space.
Denise Sangster

“The uncertainty with today’s global crisis is everywhere, in every family, industry and country. From day to day we are taking a big breath and preparing ourselves for the next curve ball or shift that COVID and our governments will put in front of us. This has led to one very large positive,’ comments Ocean Reeve, CEO of Ocean Reeve Publishing in Australia. ‘It has led to a huge book boom here in Australia and internationally”. Reeve has seen over the last two years how individuals have taken advantage of lockdowns to write and publish.
Ocean Reeve Publishing (ORP) is helping writers bring their stories to life in physical form, eBook and audiobook, along with utilising a world-first book marketing mentoring program all developed and operated from Brisbane, Queensland. This program mentors authors through every step of the book marketing journey in an age where author ownership over marketing is a necessity. This assisted independent publisher was founded by Ocean Reeve in 2016 and helps to bridge an industry gap by offering an alternative to the uncertainty of selfpublishing and likely rejection from big publishing houses.
“Fundamentally, everyone has a book in them. We’ve heard this for years and the pandemic brought this out of more people than usual,” says Reeve, “People took to the keyboards for the firsttime during lockdowns, while around 50-60% of our new authors had manuscripts written pre-COVID. The pandemic prompted them to pull them out, dust them off, and then publish.”
Reeve said first-time authors were across a broad demographic. Everyone from stay-at-home mums to self-help gurus, business leaders, victims of crime, and fiction writers are now discovering they can fulfill their dream of being a published author and succeed in this space.
“We give authors control while mentoring and supporting them through the entire publishing process so they’re not floundering in the highly competitive book market. Our world-first tailored book marketing mentoring program provides guidance on everything from pre-selling their books, effectively launching it on and offline and then creating the necessary awareness for their book both here in Australia and internationally.”
2021 showed just how successful Reeve’s business model actually is as a flurry of awards came rolling in. Beginning in March 2021 with the APAC Enterprise Award for Best Australasian Independent and SelfPublishing Company. This was followed by the top award in Business Excellence issued by Roar Success, a Melbourne based marketing company. Reeve himself was runner-up in the 2021 Innov8 Awards for Original and Creative Thinking for Businesses aged 2-5 years. In addition, a national awards program titled the Australian Small Business Champion Awards listed Ocean Reeve Publishing as a finalist for 2021. The actual winners have yet to be announced due to the awards ceremony being postponed into 2022 due to COVID. Finally, Reeve’s organisation won the Best Australasian Independent Publishing Company 2021 through the Global 100 awards and now, they have added the 2022 top award for their industry as well.
“To be recognised by an international organisation like KMH Media Group and the Global100, not just once but twice, is immensely exciting. It helps highlight how successful and prominent the indie author scene is and how companies, like ours, are not only listening to what authors need but meeting those needs,” Mr Reeve said.
Ocean Reeve Publishing has just recently brought in their 1000th author as of January 2022 and published more than 700 books over the last five years. A few of these authors have had their books picked up internationally, won awards themselves and some are on their second and third print runs. It appears with the past years accolades; this is set to be another successful year for this publisher and their authors.
