So easy to install you can have your DYNOmite Dynamometer up and running the day it arrives! Rapid on-off set-up makes it easy to test different model motorcycles and ATVs back to back. Roll the unit on, strap it down, clamp on the inductive tach lead, and test! When you are done, a full color report can print out -automatically. Standard Motorcycle/ATV Dynamometers include: 16” x 50” machined traction grooved inertia roll assembly, structural steel formed frame, quick-adjust wheelbase front mount, dual steel ramps, vehicle tie downs, casters, roller guards, Eddy Current or water brake load control (with step-up drive), electronic torque arm transducer, automated load control, DYNOmite “Pro” data acquisition computer, DYNO-MAX 2000 software, inductive RPM pick-up, AC power supply/ charger, stainless braided plumbing, and data wiring harness. (Optional trailering packages are also available.) “Lite” Motorcycle only Dynamometer include: 16” x 25” inertia roll with machined “traction grooves,” quick-adjust wheelbase front mount, roll-on ramp, and tie downs, DYNOmite-Lite data acquisition computer, DYNO-MAX “Lite” software, AC power supply/charger, and data wiring harness. The DYNOmite Data Acquisition Computer automatically displays and records true horsepower, torque, RPM, elapsed time, & MPH, up to 1,000 readings per second (per channel). The system calculates and displays Hp in real-time from torque data captured via a full-bridge strain gauge transducer. It can also apply Standard, SAE, or DIN atmospheric correction for local air temperature, barometric pressure, and relative humidity .
Testing under a controlled road load is vital for proper injection system mapping. The system’s included DYNO-MAX software, running on your Windows equipped PC, provides a “Road Load Simulation” mode that replicates the effects of vehicle momentum, air drag, and rolling friction. Test bikes to 200 MPH and 500+ Hp. (Power capacities are primarily traction dependent, so even more low speed rear-wheel torque can be applied with tie downs.) You can even test emissions using the optional DYNOmite Exhaust Measurement Analyzer.

What is a PRO dyno? Pro Dynos have all the features of the Standard series, but also includes a laptop computer, color printer, a console and swinging boom assembly to hold the computer, a Weather Station,Wide Band O2 Module with pump, High Velocity Fan and upgraded DYNO-MAX software. Can I upgrade a “Lite” Dyno? Yes, the “Lite” dynamometer can be upgraded to Std and Pro series since they share the same chassis. Eddy Current, electronics, and software upgrades can be added at any time. Can the DYNOmite Dyno service Sleds and PWC, and what is needed? When using the DYNOmite Motorcycle/ATV model with the water brake option, you can also test snowmobiles and PWC’s. Removing the water brake from the roller assembly allows fitting it to the crankshaft of most popular snowmobiles or pump housings of the PWC’s allowing them to be tested. (PWC’s may also require optional pump adapters) How long a wheelbase can be tested? DYNOmite dynos handle standard wheelbase models up to 84” and wheelbase extension kits are available. This measurement is from the front of the front wheel to the axle of the rear-wheel.
