I enjoy working in various media and genre with rich or bright colors. In my dedication to creating each day, I draw my inspiration mainly from nature, my gardens, architecture and my day to day life. I strive to capture the details of the world around me in an effort to enrich the environments of others with my art and to encourage them to look anew at their world with wonder and joy. I earned a degree in Art Education, but much of my art training has been more informal through trial and error, workshops and virtual courses. I have been a creative multipod all my life and have enjoyed drawing, painting, printmaking, photography and fiber arts for as long as I can remember. I live in Houston, Texas, USA with my husband and pets. Our children are all grown.
