The fourth stage of TransKitzAlp consists of two parts that could not be more diametrically opposed. The first part involves the Kitzbüheler Horn on the St. Johann side of the mountain developed for tourism and expanded into a skiing and hiking area. On the other side the natural beauty of the Kalkstein with its quaint lodges and beautiful mountain pastures that towers above for the second part of this stage. Starting in the upper part of the village of Wiesenschwang, the path leads to the Harschbichlalm (1,604 m). Here you stand in front of the peak of the Kitzbüheler Horn and have a fantastic view.
