Kodaikanal International School was founded in 1901 as an American residential school for the children of Missionaries in South India, and has since, metamorphosed from its small beginnings to an Internationally acclaimed Residential school in India and abroad. In its century of history, KIS has remained dedicated to creating academic and residential programs for people of all ethnic, religious, socio-economic and national backgrounds.
