Meet the Team

Rachel Cameron - Copy Editor For this edition of Risqué, felt it was important to discuss the importance of being educated sex. When I was in school, I didn’t have much of an education on it, so I hope for anyone who also didn’t get much of a sex education benefits from it. I also discuss the reasons why virginity is and always will be a social construct. I hope you enjoy reading this edition and learn something new.

Kirstie Clark - Design Editor

For this issue, I decided to focus on transgender surgery costs and discrimination and how often women get sex shamed. I found these topics very interesting to research and write about as I have been sex shamed before and didn’t realise how often women are sex shamed in general.

Ross Chalmers - Editor in Chief I wrote about queer men and HIV/AIDS as I am a pansexual man myself. I felt if I had material like this when I was 18 it would’ve been a lot easier to educate myself and find comfortability in who I was. I hope this helps younger students who are struggling with coming to terms with who they are.
