Habitat for Humanity 2013 • Spent a week working at Habitat for Humanity as part of a school class. NAIT Dormitories 2014 • Designed and electronically modeled a dormitory building for NAIT. Once it was finished we completed a set off working drawings for the building. Northbank Financial Group 2015 • A design competition held for NAIT students to design a sustainable bank for a fictional business in which I finished 7th of 80 students. About Me My name is Kirk Lawrence. I was born and raised in the small town of Vermilion, AB. I have been intrigued by buildings and art almost my entire life. At the age of 18 I moved to Edmonton and attended Northern Alberta Institute of Technology’s Architectural Technologies program. While at NAIT I finished each semster on the Dean’s List. With my diploma in hand I would like to get a degree and eventually a Masters of Architecture. In this portfolio I have included some of my projects and designs I have completed throughout my time at NAIT.
