Where would you most love to play in the future? I've played just about every major city in the world, with the only remaining gaps in my CV being Rio and Hawaii.

What’s your favourite holiday memory? Going to visit my family in Cornwall and searching for crabs in the rockpools.

Who do you like to party with? Whoever's in town that week. The summer's long, and I'm always game...

Whose music do you think will be massive next summer? Too early to say. If I could see that far into the future I'd know next year's winning lottery numbers as well and I'd retire to a private island.

What’s the best thing about your superstar lifestyle? I wouldn't describe it as 'superstar'. I do what I love, which is the best thing, but there are plenty of unglamorous aspects to the job.

What is it you love about playing in resorts such as Ibiza, Mallorca, Gran Canaria, the Greek Islands and Tenerife? It's difficult to generalise about all of them, as each has its own individual characteristic, but sun and Mediterranean food go together very nicely. What’s your favourite resort to play at? Ibiza.

What are the Club 18-3o crowd like to play for? Loud, which is the way the DJ fraternity likes it best.

These conditions, along with the other information in our guides or on our websites (depending on how you make your booking) set out the terms and conditions of the contract between you and Thomas Cook Tour Operations Limited, trading as Club 18-30, and show your and our contractual commitments to each other. Your contract will be governed by English law and any disputes will be dealt with in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Northern Ireland or Scotland, the courts of Northern Ireland or Scotland (as appropriate), can deal with any disputes. When we talk about your Holiday in these conditions, except where otherwise stated, we mean the accommodation, transport and other holiday services (excluding Resort Booked Excursions, see below) described by us that you book in the UK with us. Excursions Excursions include, but are not restricted to, any sightseeing trips, gigs, events or other tours attended in resort for which additional payment is required. Excursions can either be booked and/or paid for in resort ("Resort Booked Excursions") or pre-booked and paid for when you book your Holiday ("Pre-booked Excursions"). All excursions are supplied by third party suppliers and are subject to the clause entitled "Suppliers' Conditions" below. We accept, subject to the clauses entitled "Suppliers' Conditions" and "Our Liability to You" below, responsibility for Pre-booked Excursions. However, Resort Booked Excursions do not form part of your Holiday and are not governed by the Package Travel, Package Holiday and Package Tours Regulations 1992. We do not have any responsibility or liability whatsoever for anything which may go wrong on a Resort Booked Excursion. We, our servants, employees or agents are acting, depending upon the actual Resort Booked Excursion, either as agents for the relevant Resort Booked Excursion supplier or as agent for you. In any event the contract for any Resort Booked Excursion is between you and the Resort Booked Excursion provider. It is your responsibility to note carefully any conditions of contract contained in any Resort Booked Excursion, literature, ticket or receipt you are given. For Resort Booked Excursions you may be subject to the laws of the country in which you take your excursion and may be required to bring any disputes or claims before the Courts of that country also. Information and Prices We publish guide and website information many months in advance and, as far as we know, all information is correct at the time of publication. However, things may still change after publication and we check regularly to see if we need to update or correct any information or prices. If there are any significant information changes or we find any mistakes, we will put details on our computer reservation system or website so you will receive the latest information when you make your booking. Late Holiday Bookings Certain bookings made within 14 weeks of departure will be regarded as 'Late Holiday' bookings. You will be told at the time of booking whether or not the booking you seek to make is a normal booking or a ‘Late Holiday’ booking, and the difference between the two. It will then be your choice as to how you wish to proceed. Please be aware that ‘Late Holiday’ bookings always require payment of the price in full at the time of booking whenever that may be. ‘Late Holiday’ bookings may be either booked through promotional publications or from a Guide or on the website. Accommodation may either be named at the time of booking or allocated when you arrive at your destination. ‘Late Holiday’ bookings are not always cheaper than the prices in the guide, as prices are set according to demand. Additional terms and conditions apply for 'Late Holiday' bookings and these are contained on our reservation system and website. Not all services and facilities as advertised in this Guide will be available for 'Late Holiday' bookings. Please check with your travel agent or check on the website carefully before booking.

Surcharges – Price Increases After Booking Changes in transportation costs, including the cost of fuel, dues, taxes or fees chargeable for services such as landing taxes or embarkation or disembarkation fees at ports and airports and exchange rates mean that the price of your Holiday may change after you have booked. However there will be no change within 30 days of your departure. We will absorb and you will not be charged for any increase equivalent to 2% of the price of your Holiday, which excludes insurance premiums and any amendment charges. You will be charged for the amount over and above that, plus an administration charge of £1.00 per person together with an amount to cover agents’ commission. If this means that you have to pay an increase of more than 10% of the price of your Holiday, you will have the option of accepting a change to another holiday if we are able to offer one (if this is of equivalent or higher quality you will not have to pay more but if it is of lower quality you will be refunded the difference in price), or cancelling and receiving a full refund of all monies paid, except for any amendment charges. We will consider an appropriate refund of insurance premiums paid if you can show that you are unable to transfer or reuse your policy. Should you decide to cancel for this reason, you must exercise your right to do so within 14 days from the issue date printed on your final invoice. Should the price of your Holiday go down due to the changes mentioned above, by more than 2% of your holiday cost, then any refund due will be paid to you. However, please note that travel arrangements for your Holiday are not always purchased in local currency and some apparent changes have no impact on the price of your travel due to contractual and other protection in place. The price of your Holiday was calculated using exchange rates as stated in the Holiday Price section at the back of this guide and on the website. Your Booking Before you book please discuss your choice of resort, accommodation and transport with our reservations staff, to make sure it will be suitable for you and the people you will be travelling with. The person who signs the booking form or completes the booking online or by telephone is the 'lead name' and must travel with the booking. He or she must be over 18 years of age and is responsible for payment of the total booking price, including any insurance premiums and subsequent cancellation or amendment charges that may be payable. He or she also agrees to provide accurate and full information to the remainder of the travelling party in relation to the booking, including any changes thereto and confirms that all the other members of the party, including any that may be added at a later date, agree to be bound by these conditions, and all other information in the relevant guide and on our websites (as applicable). When you book your Holiday you agree to pay us either: • A deposit at the time of booking followed by the remaining balance due on the booking. You will be advised of the current deposit payable at the time of booking. The remaining balance for the Holiday is due by the date specified on your confirmation invoice (this will usually be either 10 weeks or 8 weeks before your travel date, depending on the type of Holiday booked); or • The full cost of the Holiday if you book a Late Holiday (see ’Late Holiday Bookings’ above for definition), or, if it is 10 weeks or less before you go. If you have a special request for anything that is not automatically part of your Holiday, please check when you book your Holiday and we will pass this information on to the suppliers we work with. Our note of your request on your invoice confirms we have received it and does not guarantee that we, or the relevant supplier, can meet with your request. Where possible they will try to help you, but we cannot guarantee any request unless it is noted on your invoice and we also confirm the request separately in writing. We must emphasise that verbal confirmations of special requests cannot be taken as a guarantee that they will be met e.g. special meal types on flights. We will not pay compensation for failing to meet a special request that we have not confirmed separately in writing. The minimum age for travel is 17; the maximum age is 35. To be permitted to travel you must be within this age range on the day of departure. There are no exceptions to these rules.

If you are under 18 on the day of departure you will only be permitted to travel if your parent/legal guardian has signed the booking form in the presence of the travel agent. If you book your Holiday on the telephone or on the Internet we will require a covering letter authorising you to travel, signed by your parent/legal guardian. This must be faxed to our reservations department on 01733 843680, along with a photocopy of the signature page of the passport of the parent/legal guardian who signed the letter. In all cases, there must be at least one passenger, i.e. the ‘Lead Name’, over the age of 18 on the date of departure in order for the booking to be allowed to travel. Once you have booked we will issue a confirmation invoice setting out the Holiday details and price. A contract will exist when we issue the confirmation invoice. If you book through one of our authorised travel agents, they will hold all the money you pay for your Holiday on our behalf. Please check the details on your invoice carefully. If you have any questions, or anything does not appear to be right, you must contact our reservations staff or your travel agent, immediately. On the invoice, pay particular attention to the date your final payment is due as we may cancel your Holiday if you do not make your final payment on time. If we do this we will keep your deposit. If we extend the period for you to pay the final payment at your request, and you still fail to pay or cancel your booking, the cancellation charges will be increased in accordance with the scale and ‘Exception’ set out in the section entitled ‘Cancellation By You’. Before You Travel You must take out adequate travel insurance suitable for your needs before you travel. We cannot be responsible for any costs you incur as a result of you failing to do so. For your own peace of mind the insurance should cover you if you have to cancel your arrangements, or for any emergencies that arise while you are away. We recommend the insurance we offer as it provides cover, which meets most people's needs. Please check your policy when you receive it and take it with you on your travels. Suppliers' Conditions Our third party suppliers have their own booking conditions and conditions of carriage, and you will be bound by these, so far as the relevant supplier is concerned. Our suppliers' conditions will also apply to your contract with us, and in the event of any conflict between the suppliers' conditions and our conditions, the suppliers' conditions will prevail, save to the extent that any term in the suppliers' conditions is deemed to be invalid or unenforceable, in which event our conditions will prevail. Some of our suppliers' conditions may limit or exclude liability on the part of the relevant supplier, and, by virtue of their application to your contract with us, may also limit or exclude our liability to you, and they are often subject to international conventions. You can get copies of the relevant conditions if you ask us. Changes You Make Before Travel If you want to change your Holiday arrangements in any way, we will try to help you, although we cannot guarantee that we will always be able to do this as changes are subject to availability at the time. Please note that typically changes to scheduled flight tickets are very restrictive. Where we can make a change, we will charge for any additional services, facilities, or other items changed, at the price which applies on the day the change is made. In addition, we will also apply charges for each person on the booking and for each item you want to change as shown in the table below. Any booking discount you may have received at the time the original booking was made, may be altered or reduced whenever changes are made. If you have paid supplements for accommodation and the number of people in your accommodation changes, you may have to pay extra and may lose any free or reduced infant and child places or any free group places. And remember any change to your departure date, airport, transport, destination, accommodation, or length of holiday has to apply to all members of your booking. You may not change a holiday chosen from our guides/websites to special offer holiday such as those featured in promotional publications, or to a 'Late Holiday' (see section ’Late Holiday Bookings’), without incurring cancellation charges. Such a change would necessitate the cancellation of your existing arrangements subject to our cancellation charges shown and the re-booking of new arrangements at the price applying on the day the booking is made. We will not be able to amend the details of a ‘Late Holiday’ (see section ’Late Holiday Bookings' for definition), unless you are prevented from proceeding with your Late Holiday for reasons beyond your control, and not simply due to a change of mind. Cancellation charges apply to all amendments to holidays of these types. See section ‘Cancellation by You’ for more information. If any member of the booking cancels and you cannot fill that person's place, you may have to pay additional supplements for your accommodation. For example, you may have to pay single or under-occupancy supplements. If you do cancel, you must still pay any insurance premiums and amendment charges, which arose before the cancellation, and any deposits paid for any pre-booked items or services. ‘Exception’ Cancellation of certain transport arrangements, typically Scheduled airline and Eurostar tickets can result in up to 100% cancellation charges regardless of the notice period given to us. We reserve the right to pass on these charges which will apply to the transport element of your Holiday and the cancellation charges in the scale above will apply to the other elements of your Holiday (e.g. accommodation, optional extras). Similarly, name changes (including initial changes), destination and date changes can be treated by such suppliers as a cancellation and rebooking, regardless of the period of notice given to us. If the supplier treats the change as a cancellation and rebooking we will pass on to you the cost imposed by the supplier, which could be up to 100% of the transport element of your booking and you must also pay the charge listed in the section "Changes You Make Before You Travel" above. Also note that the transport provider may refuse to issue replacement tickets for lost or stolen tickets and new tickets may have to be purchased by you. The cost of the new ticket may be greater than the cost of the original ticket. Changes Made By Us Before Travel From time to time we may have to change details of the Holiday you have booked. If any change will have a significant effect on your Holiday, we will tell you about it before your Holiday, if there is time. Changes we will tell you about include: • Change of your UK departure airport • Significant change of your destination • A change of more than 12 hours to the time you leave the UK or your destination • If we downgrade your accommodation by one full 'Tour Operator' rating or • If the swimming pool will not be available for an extended period during your Holiday and no alternative pool is available either at the property or nearby. If you do not want to accept a significant change, which we will tell you about before you depart, we will, if we are able to do so, offer you an alternative Holiday of equivalent or closely similar standard and price at no extra cost, or a less expensive Holiday, in which case we will refund the difference in price. If you do not wish to take the alternative we offer you, you can choose a different Holiday offered for sale by us and pay, or receive a refund of, any price difference. Or, if you prefer, you can cancel your Holiday and receive a full refund of any money you have paid to us, except for any amendment charges. We will consider an appropriate refund of insurance premiums paid if you can show that you are unable to transfer or reuse your policy. Unless the change is as a result of circumstances listed in the paragraph below headed ’Circumstances Beyond our Control’, we will pay you compensation as shown in the table below. Compensation payments relating to a child place for which you have paid a child price are half the amounts shown (up to half the child price paid). There are no compensation payments payable to those travelling on ‘free child places’, ‘free group places’ or infants. Minor Changes By Us Before Travel Any change which is not deemed to be significant, as outlined in the section entitled 'Changes Made By Us Before Travel', will be classed as a minor change. We will endeavour to tell you about a minor change before you travel however, we will not pay compensation as a result of this change. The flights we offer are operated by a range of scheduled or charter airlines, using wide or narrow body jet aircraft. It may not be possible at the time of booking to specify the airline or type of aircraft. We are required to inform you of the identity of the airline operating your flight. Any changes to the operating airline will be notified to you in all cases at check in or at the boarding gate. We reserve the right to change airlines or aircraft types at any time and changes of this type will not constitute a major change. Circumstances Beyond Our Control Except where we say differently elsewhere in these conditions, we cannot pay any compensation, reimburse expenses, or cover losses for any amount or otherwise accept responsibility if, as a result of circumstances beyond our control, we have to change your Holiday after booking, or we, or our suppliers, cannot supply your Holiday, as we, or they, had agreed, or you suffer any loss or damage of any description. When we refer to circumstances beyond our control, we mean any event that we, or the supplier in question, could not foresee or avoid, even after taking all reasonable care. Such circumstances will usually include, but are not limited to, war, threat of war, airport closures, epidemic, natural or nuclear disaster, terrorist activity, civil unrest, industrial dispute, bad weather (actual or threatened), change to Foreign Office advice to advise against travel to destination and significant building work ongoing outside of your accommodation (such as resort development). Changes Made After Travel If, after your departure, a significant part of your pre-booked Holiday arrangements cannot be provided, you will be offered a suitable alternative if possible. If appropriate, we will also pay you compensation in accordance with the table in the section entitled ‘Changes Made By Us Before Travel’ unless the reason for the change is due to circumstances beyond our control (see section entitled ‘Circumstances Beyond Our Control’). If it is not possible to offer you a suitable alternative or, for good reasons, you do not accept the alternative arrangements, you will have the right to cancel your booking. In this event, you will have the right to be returned by the same means of transport to your original departure point at no extra cost provided that transport is available. This does not impose an obligation on us to make specific transport arrangements for you if none are available. Flight Delays Delays sometimes occur. We work closely with the airlines and overseas offices to make sure any delay is as short as possible. When a delay occurs we will try to make sure refreshments or meals are provided when appropriate. We will not do this ourselves as such arrangements for this will normally be the responsibility of the airline. For more information on flight delays see the section entitled ‘Our Liability to You’. If you have purchased our recommended travel insurance, or a comparable policy, you should have cover against long delays. Cancellation By Us We can cancel your Holiday and any other holiday we operate. On rare occasions, we may need to cancel your Holiday if there is insufficient demand for your particular Holiday. If we have to cancel a Holiday for any particular reason, we will tell you as soon as reasonably possible. In these circumstances, we will, if we are able to do so, offer you an alternative Holiday of equivalent or closely similar standard and price at no extra cost, or a less expensive Holiday, in which case we will refund the difference in price. If you do not wish to take the alternative we offer you, you can choose another offered for sale by us and pay, or receive a full refund of, any price difference. Or, if you prefer, you can receive a full refund of any money you have paid to us, except for any amendment charges. We will consider an appropriate refund of insurance premiums paid if you can show that you are unable to transfer or reuse your policy. However, we will not cancel your Holiday within 8 weeks of departure except if we are forced to do so because of unusual circumstances we could not have foreseen, where we could not avoid the results of those circumstances even after taking all reasonable care. (See 'Circumstances Beyond Our Control' above) No compensation will be payable in these circumstances, whenever they happen, and we will

only have to offer you the above choices. We can also cancel if you fail to make payment for your booking on time. Guide and Website Accuracy Sometimes facilities described in our guides/websites will be withdrawn for reasons such as maintenance, bad weather or lack of demand from guests. If possible, we will tell you about the withdrawal of any significant facility as soon as possible. Outside the peak season it is common for facilities and services to be less widely available, both in your accommodation and holiday resort/destination generally. Beach activities such as water-skiing and windsurfing are normally managed by independent local operators and we have no control over their availability or prices. There may be a charge for some facilities at your accommodation, for example, TVs, safety deposit boxes, sun-loungers, parasols, tennis courts, pool tables and air-conditioning. In some places during high season (and even at other times) there is a possibility you will be disturbed by noise from less considerate groups, so please bear this in mind when choosing your resort and accommodation. The transfer times we quote for travel between airport and resort are approximate and, depending on circumstances, the journey time to your own chosen property may be longer. If we know about significant building work or other noise likely to affect your travel arrangements we aim to tell you before you leave. We cannot provide this advice on ‘Late Holiday’ bookings where accommodation is not specified before you arrive at your destination, (see also ‘Circumstances Beyond Our Control’) Our Liability To You • (i) Our obligations, and those of our suppliers providing any service or facility involved in any of your Holiday, are to take reasonable skill and care to arrange for the provision of such services and facilities and, where we or our supplier is actually providing the service or facility, to provide them with reasonable skill and care. Compliance with any applicable regulatory requirements (such as, for example, those of the Civil Aviation Authority) will be proper performance of our, and our suppliers', obligations. You must show that reasonable skill and care has not been used if you wish to make any claim. • (ii) For claims which do not involve death or personal injury, we accept liability, subject to paragraph (i) above and (v) below, should any part of your Holiday not be as described in the relevant guide, on our websites or elsewhere by us (as applicable to your method of booking) before you leave the U.K. If we have liability, we will, subject to paragraphs (iii), (vi) and (vii) below, pay you reasonable compensation. However, the maximum we will pay you in any circumstances is twice the price of the Holiday. This maximum will only be payable when every aspect of your Holiday has gone wrong and you have not received any benefit from your Holiday. Any sums received by you from suppliers will be deducted from any sum paid to you as compensation by us. • (iii) Where a flight ticket is downgraded or a flight cancelled, delayed, or boarding is denied by any carrier in circumstances which would entitle you to compensation under the Denied Boarding Regulations 2004, then you are obliged to claim the appropriate sums pursuant to those Regulations from the carrier. Any sums received by you in this respect constitute the full amount of your entitlement to compensation for all matters flowing from the carrier's actions and which fall within the scope of the Denied Boarding Regulations. If, for any reason, you do not claim against the carrier and make a claim for compensation from us, you must, at the time of payment of any compensation to you, make a complete assignment to us of the rights you have against the carrier in relation to the claim that gives rise to that compensation payment. • (iv) For claims which involve death or personal injury as a result of an activity forming part of your Holiday (excluding Resort Booked Excursions see section entitled ‘Excursions’), we have liability subject to paragraph (i) above and (v) below. If we accept liability, we will, subject to paragraphs (vi), (vii) and (viii) below, pay you reasonable compensation. • (v) We accept liability in accordance with paragraphs (i), (ii) and (iv) above and subject to paragraphs (vi), (vii) and (viii) below except where the cause of the failure in your Holiday or any death or personal injury you may suffer is not due to any fault on our part or that of our servants, agents or suppliers because it is either attributable to you, or attributable to someone unconnected with the Holiday and is unforeseeable or unavoidable; or because the failure is due to unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all due care had been exercised, or due to an event which neither we, nor our servants, agents or suppliers could have foreseen or forestalled. • (vi) If any international convention applies to or governs any of the services or facilities included in your Holiday arranged or provided by us, or provided by any of our suppliers, and you make a claim against us of any nature arising out of death, injury, loss or damage suffered during or as a result of the provision of those services or facilities, our liability to pay you compensation and/or the amount (if any) of compensation payable to you by us will be limited in accordance with and/or in an identical manner to that provided for by the international convention concerned (in each case including in respect of the conditions of liability, the time for bringing any claim and the type and amount of any damages that can be awarded). International Conventions which may apply include: in respect of international air travel, the Warsaw Convention 1929 (including as amended by the Hague Protocol of 1955 and by any of the additional Montreal Protocol of 1975) or the Montreal Convention 1999; in respect of rail travel, the Berne Convention

1961; in respect of carriage by sea, the Athens Convention 1974; in respect of carriage by road, the Geneva Convention 1973; and, in respect of hotels, the Paris Convention 1962.You can get copies of the relevant conventions if you ask us. For the avoidance of doubt, this means that we are to be regarded as having all benefit of any limitations of compensation contained in any of these conventions or any other international conventions applicable to your Holiday. (vii) You are obliged to assist us in recovering from any third party any sum which may compensate us for any sums we pay you. In particular, you are obliged to assign to us any rights that you may have against any other person whose acts or omissions have caused or contributed to our legal liability to pay you compensation. You must also provide us with all assistance we may reasonably require. Finally, you must follow the procedures for the notification of complaints set out in the clause below entitled "If You Have A Complaint". (viii) Should you become ill while on Holiday, you must, in addition to reporting your illness to our representative, local agent or Duty Office, consult a local doctor and also consult your GP upon your return to the UK. Should you then wish to make a claim against us as a result of that illness, you must provide us with details of both the local doctor whom you saw and your GP, together with written authority for us to obtain a medical report from both those doctors. (ix) If you or any member of your party suffers during your Holiday any difficulty through misadventure as a result of any activity which does not form part of your contracted Holiday arrangements, we will offer you prompt assistance. All assistance (financial or otherwise) is subject to our reasonable discretion and a maximum total cost to ourselves of £1,000 per booking and is subject to you notifying us that you require such assistance within 30 days of the incident. If you are entitled to have any costs and expenses arising from such an incident met by or from any insurance policy or if you obtain a costs order against anyone in relation to the incident, you must repay to us the costs and expenses we spend in assisting you. (x) Other than as set out above, and as is detailed elsewhere in these booking conditions, we shall have no legal liability whatsoever to you for any loss, damage, personal injury or death which you suffer arising directly or indirectly from any aspect of your Holiday.

Baggage The amount of compensation we will pay for any loss or damage to luggage is limited in accordance with the conventions listed in the above section. For claims for missing or damaged baggage you must follow the rules on the back or your ticket or contained within the carrier’s conditions of carriage. Please note time limits apply within which to notify us or the carrier and make a claim. We will not accept liability for high-value items which you should insure for the appropriate amount. Your Responsibility We want all our customers to have an enjoyable, carefree Holiday. But you must remember that you are responsible for your actions and the effect they may have on others. If we, or another person in authority, believe: • your actions could upset, annoy or disturb other customers, our suppliers or our own staff, or put them in any risk or danger, or damage property; or • you are unfit to travel; we may end your Holiday and terminate your contract. You and your travelling party will be prevented from using your booked accommodation, transport, and any other Travel Arrangements forming part of your booking and we will not be liable for any refund, compensation or any other costs you have to pay. Alternatively at our discretion, you may be permitted to continue with your Holiday but may have additional terms of carriage imposed upon you. See 'In-Flight Safety in the All You Need To Know/Holiday Information sections of the relevant guide and on our websites for further details. In addition to the above and the effect your actions may have on others, you must particularly also bear in mind that you are responsible for your safety, and that you are responsible for the condition of the property you occupy. We are not responsible for any accidents which occur in or around swimming pools due to your inappropriate, or irresponsible behaviour, or for any accidents which occur anywhere on properties because of glass, china or the like which you have broken and/or have left in a way in which injury can result. We expect that you will enjoy your holiday with us. We appreciate that you may well drink alcohol as part of your enjoyment. You must, however, do so responsibly and we will have no liability to you for any injury, loss or damage you suffer as a result of your judgment being impaired wholly or partly by alcohol. We will hold you and the members of your travelling party jointly and individually liable for any damage to the accommodation, furniture, apparatus or other materials located within the accommodation, together with any legal costs we incur in pursuing a claim. It is your duty to report any breakages, defects or damage to an appropriate person immediately. If your behaviour or the behaviour of any members of your travelling party causes any transport aircraft to be diverted we and/or the carrier will hold you and those members jointly and individually liable for all costs incurred as a result of that diversion. We cannot accept liability for the behaviour of others in your accommodation or flight, or for any facilities/services withdrawn as a result of their action.

Travel Documents And Health Advice It is your responsibility to have valid travel documents. If we or your carrier are fined as a result of you holding incorrect documents, you will have to pay us the full amount. For up to date UK Government health and travel advice please visit www.fco.gov.uk, www.hpa.org.uk and www.nathnac.org and contact your GP. See our Holiday Information pages and website for further information. If You Have A Complaint We aim to provide the best Holiday possible. However, if you are not satisfied please complain as soon as possible to the relevant person (for example, the accommodation management or transport supplier). If they cannot help, you must tell your Holiday Representative or our Local Agent and we will do everything reasonably possible to sort the problem out. If you are still not satisfied, ask your Holiday Representative or our Local Agent for a Customer Relations Report Form. If you do not have the services of a Representative or our Local Agent, or they are not available, you must contact our UK Duty Office (on the number shown on your travel documentation) straight away. When you get back home, send a letter (and where possible, enclose your completed Customer Relations Report Form), to our offices in the UK, within 28 days of returning home. If you have special needs that prevent you from writing to us then, where possible, we will accept details of your complaint over the telephone. For complaints arising from Scheduled airlines, we will act as a liaison between you and the airline, to try to assist in resolving the problem. If we cannot help and you wish to take matters further, you must contact the airline directly. Any such rights will be reduced or extinguished if, had you followed the above procedures during your Holiday, you or we could have taken steps to reduce any loss or damage suffered or entirely prevented it from being suffered. It is difficult and sometimes impossible to properly investigate a complaint if we are not told about it reasonably quickly once the Holiday is over. Your right to claim compensation may also be reduced or extinguished, should any delay in your complaint being notified during or after your Holiday, prevent us from carrying out a proper investigation. We aim to resolve all complaints ourselves, but if this is not possible your complaint can be considered under a scheme devised by the Association of British Travel Agents and administered by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. We will give you details of this scheme if you ask. The scheme does not apply to claims over £25,000 in total or more than £5,000 a person, or to claims mainly about illness or injury. To take advantage of the scheme you must contact the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators within 9 months of returning from your Holiday. Passports & Visas: The following information applies to British Citizens holding a UK passport issued in the UK. Non-British Citizen passport holders or British Citizens holding a UK Passport issued abroad should contact the appropriate consulate or embassy for clarification. Please note, both passport & visa regulations can change & you should check with your travel agent or the relevant embassy well in advance of travel. It can often take some time to obtain a visa, so you are advised to apply in plenty of time. Your Responsibility: It is the responsibility of passengers to ensure they have valid, acceptable passports & any required visa or any other documentation for the travel they are to undertake. Passengers without the correct documentation may be refused carriage by the airline or entry into any country. Where entry is refused, fines or other financial penalty will be imposed on or by the airline & the passenger(s) concerned will be required to immediately return to their country of departure. Any passenger who travels without the required passport/visa/other documentation is solely responsible for & must immediately pay all fines, surcharges, other financial penalty, costs (including the cost of their immediate return flight) & any other sums of any description which are incurred or imposed by the airline or incurred by ourselves. This will be the case regardless of whether the lack of correct documentation is spotted at the departure airport. We can accept no liability in this situation & no compensation, expenses, refund or other sum will be paid. Validity: A valid passport is essential when you travel abroad. Although your passport has been issued for 10 years (5 years for children) you should note that some overseas countries have an immigration requirement for a passport to remain valid for a minimum period after the date of entry to that country (typically 6 months). If your passport is in its final year of validity, you are advised to check the requirements of the destination before you make your final travel plans. Visitors to Egypt require a visa, which can be obtained either prior to departure or on arrival. The visa can be paid for in Sterling or US$ & costs approximately £10 per person. For further information on entry requirements, please check with the Egyptian consulate-general in London on 09065 508933 (24hr helpline). Visitors to Turkey require an entry visa, which can be purchased on arrival. The visa costs £10 (payable in Sterling notes only) & is valid for 90 days from the date of arrival into Turkey. Visitors to Cyprus should note that a 10-year passport is required which is valid for 3 months after the date of return to the UK. Visitors to Bulgaria should note that you may enter Bulgaria as a tourist without a visa for up to thirty days only in any 6 month period. You may not be allowed to re-enter Bulgaria after the initial thirty days have expired if you have not spent the requisite period outside the country. Apply Early: If you need to apply for a passport or renew an expired passport, you should do so well in advance of travel & at least four weeks before. (If you are 16 or over & have never had a passport in your own name, you should apply for one at least six weeks before your holiday. The UK passport service has to confirm your identity before issuing your first passport & will ask you to attend an interview in order to protect your identity). Names: At the time of booking please ensure you supply your first name & surname, (as they appear on your passport) as both of these must be stated on your flight ticket. This will reduce confusion & delays at check-in. It is anticipated that customers could face more queries & delays as more countries introduce Advance Passenger Information systems. You may not be able to travel & insurance may be invalid if the name on your passport & travel documents don’t match. If, after booking a holiday but before traveling, any member of your party changes their name, e.g. as a result of getting married, we must be notified immediately so that we can make the necessary changes to your holiday documentation. Disabled Travellers: The majority of overseas accommodation, overseas transport (including transfers) & other holiday services provided overseas are not equipped to cater for the needs of many disabled holidaymakers. Furthermore the natural terrain & the layout of some resorts can sometimes make life difficult for wheelchair users. It is therefore important, if you have any disability, that the appropriate enquiries are made about the suitability of particular accommodation, resorts, transport & services, & that you are fully satisfied you have made the correct choice before you book & confirm your holiday. Please note: if special arrangements need to be made for you an extra charge may have to be levied. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to tell us about special needs/requirements that will affect your holiday experience & this means we will not

Currency & Money: We recommend the purchase of traveller’s cheques or the Cashpassport for the bulk of your holiday money, with a small amount of local currency for initial sundry items. Major credit cards are also widely accepted in all the destinations in this guide. In some cases local currencies may have to be purchased after arrival or there may be restrictions on the amount you are permitted to buy in advance. In Bulgaria, traveller’s cheques can only be cashed at banks, therefore it is advisable to take a small amount of £ Sterling or Euros to cash at hotels. YOUR FLIGHT Pre-Bookable Flight Services: All pre-bookable flight services should be booked no later than 7 days prior to departure. Seats Together: Thomas Cook Airlines only - subject to availability, you can reserve seats together at a charge of up to £20 per person depending on destination. Ask your travel agents to check the current prices on Viewdata. On each flight normally 75% of seats are available to be pre-allocated therefore reserving your seats together is subject to availability. We will aim to sit parties together, side by side. However, in some circumstances, depending on the size of the group &/or configuration of the aircraft, sitting together could be either side of the aisle or directly behind one another. If we need to change the airline/aircraft, or due to unforeseen circumstances, use a replacement airline/aircraft the facility may be withdrawn without notice & any money paid for this service will be refunded. To take advantage of this facility all members of the party must be travelling under the same booking reference. Club 18-30 is unable to specify seat numbers until check in. The opportunity to pre-book seats together is not available on bookings made within seven days of departure. Third Party Airlines - Pre-bookable seats may be available on some third party airlines. Contact one of our reservations staff for further information on prices & availability. In-flight Meal: If you are entitled to a meal or have paid for a meal, Thomas Cook Airlines only can offer a range of meal options including children’s, vegetarian, vegan, diabetic & gluten-free. Please reserve at the time of booking – ask your travel agent to book via Finishing Touches on Viewdata, up to 10 days before departure. Passengers Travelling with Reduced Mobility - Making your Booking: Passengers with reduced mobility are strongly advised to contact us on 0800 1073409 before making your reservation. This will enable our reservation agents to confirm availability of any assistance requirements prior to booking, as any changes made after booking will be subject to our standard change fees. Do not hesitate to contact us on 0800 1073409 for further information, we will be pleased to answer any questions or queries that you may have regarding assistance. People Needing Assistance at the Airport: If you are a wheelchair user or have reduced mobility, you need to call us on 0800 1073409 prior to booking, to request assistance service at airports. If you do not request this in advance we cannot guarantee that this service will be available, as there is a limit on the number of passengers with reduced mobility & the number of wheelchairs we are able to assist on the day with no pre-notification. The airport will signpost designated points for passengers with reduced mobility. Wheelchair Users: If you have your own wheelchair, this will be carried free of charge in addition to your normal baggage allowance. Since a wheelchair is carried in the hold & collected in the baggage reclaim area, we advise that it is adequately insured against loss or damage since the airline liability is limited. Electronically powered wheelchairs will be accepted for travel, providing that the general conditions for their carriage, as outlined in the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, are met. These relate to the batteries used to power wheelchairs. Since the batteries will remain attached to the wheelchair, it is important that the wheelchair can be easily stored in an upright position when collapsed for carriage. Batteries must be disconnected & the battery terminals insulated to prevent accidental shorting. Accompanying Companion for Reduced Mobility Passengers: A carer must travel with any passenger who does not meet the DFT (Department for Transport) code of practice definition of self reliance. In establishing whether someone is “self-reliant” please refer to the DFT code of practice. If you are not self-reliant (capable of taking care of all your physical needs independently in-flight) a carer is required for travel to take care of these needs. The carer must purchase a ticket at the same time. A carer can travel with a maximum of 2 passengers requiring additional assistance as outlined above. Due to CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) regulations, any persons with reduced mobility or any physical disability or intellectual impairment cannot be allocated seats adjacent to the emergency exits. At the Airport - Check In: The following information is designed to help you complete the airport check-in process as quickly as possible. As a result of security measures at UK airports, you must check in AT LEAST 2 hours before your flight is scheduled to take off. If you fail to check in on time, the airline is entitled to refuse to allow you to board the flight. We cannot accept responsibility if such a situation arises &, whilst we will endeavour to assist in making alternative travel arrangements to your resort, any cost or loss incurred as a result will be your responsibility. When you arrive at the check-in desk for your flight, you will be asked for your ticket, passport & baggage. If travelling in a group, please make sure all members of your party are at the desk. Once you have checked in you can move through to the departure lounge where you will find further information, including your departure gate number. Important Notice: Remember no calls will be made for your flight so please make sure that you are at the departure gate no later than 45 minutes before your departure time. Luggage Tags: Club 18-30 no longer provide luggage labels with your tickets as the baggage tags provided by the airline staff contain all the required information for tracking your luggage should it go astray. Security: Please keep your luggage with you at all times; never carry packages or presents for anyone else. Unattended luggage will be removed & destroyed. Emergency Exit Seats: Please note, for safety reasons we are unable to allocate seats on emergency exit rows to disabled passengers. Pregnancy: Regulations vary from airline to airline but some will refuse to carry women who will be 28 weeks or more pregnant on the date of return travel. If you are in doubt, please check with the airline concerned. We recommend that you also consult your own doctor. Fitness To Fly: You may need permission to fly from your doctor if you suffer from certain medical conditions, which may mean you also require assistance from the airline. Should you have any concerns regarding your fitness to fly & you are flying with Thomas Cook Airlines please contact 0844 855 0515. Baggage Delays: Although handling arrangements at UK departure points are excellent, there are occasions when your baggage may be delayed. However, if the recommended insurance is taken, you are covered for emergency purchases. Sporting Equipment: Thomas Cook Airlines can accept most types of sports equipment – charges apply. The acceptance of sporting equipment with third party airlines is at their discretion & additional charges will normally apply. All such items will travel on a weight & space-permitting basis only. You should also have insurance for these items. Hand Baggage: The check-in agent at the airport will ask you to show your hand luggage. Only one item of hand baggage is permitted. This should not be over 5kg in weight or bigger than 17” x 11” x 9” in size. The low dose X-Ray machines used at UK airports to examine hand luggage will not affect photographic film. Hold baggage is subject to a higher dose X-Ray inspection & we suggest therefore that you pack your film in your hand luggage. Items such as knives, scissors, tweezers & laser pointers may not be carried as hand luggage. These should be carried as hold baggage only and will be confiscated if packed in your hand luggage. Hold Baggage: Your hold baggage must not exceed the stated allowance on your ticket. A charge will be made if the stated allowance is exceeded. Baggage allowances range from 15kg up to 30kg. Individual items of luggage must not exceed 30kg for lifting purposes. Valuables: Please remember to pack any valuables including money, credit cards, jewellery, keys & camera equipment in your hand luggage & not in your suitcase. Airline (Operating Carrier) Information: In accordance with EU Regulations we are required to advise you of the operating carrier(s) (or, if the operating carrier(s) is not known, the likely carrier(s)) that will operate your flight(s) at the time of booking. Where we are only able to inform you of the likely carrier(s) at the time of booking, we will inform you of the identity of the operating carrier(s) as soon as we become aware of this. Any change to the operating carrier(s) after your booking has been confirmed will be notified to you as soon as possible. Any change in the identity of the airline, flight timings &/or aircraft type will not entitle you to cancel or change to other flight arrangements without paying our normal charges except where specified in our conditions. Please note, that ‘No-Frills’ airlines are scheduled carriers. Flight Timings: Flight timings shown in this guide are based on the 24-hour clock system. These timings, however, are provisional only & will be submitted for approval by the UK & overseas scheduling committees, & are therefore given for guidance only & are subject to alteration & confirmation. Our reservation system will show the latest timings for your flight. The right is reserved to substitute alternative airlines &/or aircraft at any time. All bookings are subject to the grant of licenses by the Civil Aviation Authority. Flight Routing: A direct flight may touch down en-route for re-fuelling, or to pick up &/or drop off passengers. In these instances you are not normally required to disembark & the flight is still considered to be a direct flight. A non-direct flight may require a change of aircraft en-route while a non-stop flight may take you directly from your final destination airport without stopping. Safety: The safety & welfare of passengers is of paramount importance. While we wish to create a genuine holiday mood, we or our suppliers, may deny boarding or impose additional conditions of carriage to any passenger who: • Is intoxicated &/or disruptive • Is found to be smoking on board the aircraft • Makes an inappropriate remark. Inappropriate remarks are considered as any comment or statement made by a person, that indicates they may be carrying a bomb (or other such explosive device), a firearm or weapon regardless of that person’s intent or reason for making the comment or statement. Although we want you to start & end your holiday on a high note, please make sure that you keep any drinking to a minimum before the departure of your flight. We will deny boarding to any passenger who appears to be intoxicated or whose behaviour we consider disruptive. We realise that some larger passengers, due to their size, often find that the aircraft seat width is insufficient for their needs. For your own safety & comfort & that of other passengers, you must advise us or your travel agent at the time of booking if you know or are unsure as to whether the seat size on the aircraft will be sufficient for your needs. If you do require additional space, then subject to availability, you can purchase more than one seat located side by side or, if you prefer, a wider seat in an upgraded class (where applicable). We regret however, that due to additional costs incurred by us, you will have to pay the full cost of all seats required by you, plus any upgrade supplement per seat. Deep Vein Thrombosis: Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) is a serious condition where blood clots develop in the deep veins of the legs. Prolonged immobility is generally thought to be the common underlying risk factor, & thus any travel involving prolonged immobility can result in developing a DVT. A wide range of advice is available on DVT - you are strongly recommended to obtain advice which will include information on those people most at risk of DVT & how to reduce risks when flying. Most passengers can reduce risks through keeping circulation active by practicing in-seat exercises, especially leg exercises, & walking around the aircraft whenever possible - most airlines provide details of suitable exercises within their in-flight magazines or during in-flight videos & if you are flying with Thomas Cook Airlines, please also visit www.thomascookairlines.co.uk for further information. Seat Pitch: For all Thomas Cook Airlines’ flights we advise that the distance between the back support cushion of your flight seat & the back of the seat or other fixed structure in front of your seat will not be less than 26”, which is the minimum stated in the UK Civil Aviation Authority’s Airworthiness Notice No. 64, issue 2 of the 29/10/01. YOUR ACCOMMODATION General: Accommodation can, at times, have a lively atmosphere & facilities & entertainment may vary according to the mix & ages of guests in residence. The official ratings are given by the authorities in the country & do tend to give a fair impression of relative standards within that country. A number of factors have been included in the rating of properties including; room standard & facilities, property standard & facilities, swimming pool/hotel bar, food (if served at the property), entertainment (at the property) & location to the nightlife & the beach. These ratings are subjective & not based on any official ratings or guidelines. Accommodation & Room Types: When we mention room types in our guide, in most cases you can expect to receive a room similar to that described below. Please note however that whilst room categories in different hotels may have the same or similar names, the criteria for their classification is likely to differ, as these are the names the hotels use & they do not have standard definitions. Please note that we do not always sell all room types at all hotels. The following sections provide some additional information on accommodation & room types. Hotels & Hotel Rooms: The term ‘hotel’ is used to describe various types of accommodation & does not necessarily distinguish between local classifications such as ‘aparthotel’, ‘holiday village’, ‘holiday complex’. Room Information: • Double rooms - a ‘Double’ is a room with a double bed. A double bed may be two single beds with double bedding. • Twin rooms - a ‘Twin’ is a room with two single beds. • Single rooms - a ‘Single’ or ‘Twin for sole use’ is a room with one or two single beds. • Rooms sleeping up to 4 people - some hotels have rooms that sleep up to 4 people. Room layout may consist of up to 4 separate beds or a combination of double, twin, camp beds, sofa beds or rollaway beds. Rooms for up to 4 persons may not be any larger than standard twin or double rooms so space is likely to limited & the room may be cramped. Where rooms do accept extra beds, some hotels may require an additional local charge to be paid which can vary by destination, please ask for details when you book. Though we will do our best to help, please note that we cannot guarantee the room configuration or type of beds that you will be provided with. Studios & Apartments: It’s not unusual in some countries (particularly those in the Mediterranean) to have beds with concrete basis. Please also be aware that although initially supplied, it is usual in some Greek studios & apartments for toilet rolls not to be re-supplied. • Studios - A ‘studio’ is one room living-cum-sleeping accommodation, usually with sofa beds, basic kitchen facilities (two cooking rings & a fridge) & a shower room. • Apartments - An apartment is self-contained with one or more bedrooms with twin/double beds, basic kitchen facilities (two cooking rings & fridge) & shower room. One-bedroom apartments usually have a separate living area, though in Greece multi-bedroom apartments may not have a separate living area. Apartment descriptions indicate the number of adults who can occupy an apartment (e.g. 2-4 persons). This will not always mean that at the time of your stay the apartment will contain the maximum number of beds, if there is less than the maximum number of people in your own party. Beds in the living area may be of the folding type or sofa beds. Views from a Balcony/Terrace: If you would like a specific view, please be aware that rooms described as having a pool or sea view may not have a full pool or full sea view because of plants or buildings blocking the view. Meal Service: Providing meals from a self-service buffet is popular in hotels. We include the most up-to-date information we have about meal service in our accommodation descriptions, but occasionally arrangements will change. Breakfast will be of the “continental” type unless stated otherwise. In certain properties, extended or “English” type breakfasts are available & may be at an extra charge. Many properties are not necessarily used to catering for special diets & therefore if you have particular or specific requirements, you may find that the choice is limited. How Many Nights Are Spent In Your Accommodation? Your accommodation is usually reserved for you from 12:00 noon on the day of your departure from the UK; however, at some larger hotels delays may occur with check-in whilst your room is prepared for you. For night flights departing between 00:00 & 04:00 hours, the day of departure is deemed to be the previous day. In some cases, depending on your flight times, you may arrive in the early hours or during the course of the morning. Your accommodation should be immediately available to you, & in this case this is classed as the first night of your holiday. Rooms are normally vacated at the internationally recog-

nised time of 12 noon on the last day of the holiday. However, there are some areas where a 10am vacating time is operated. On occasions there may be several hours to wait before the departure of your flight home. In such cases a courtesy room may be made available for changing & storing luggage. Sometimes hotels will let you keep your room for a longer period but usually for a small charge. This is not always possible with apartments. Air Conditioning: Some properties have individual air conditioners located in either the bedroom or the living area, allowing you to adjust the atmosphere to your liking. In some descriptions we have indicated that there is centrally controlled air conditioning. This means it is operated at the discretion of the management, both in bedrooms & public areas. In such cases air conditioning may be limited to particular times of the day & the hottest months of the year. There is normally a charge for air conditioning in rooms. Other Guests: We do not have exclusive use of all properties featured in this guide. It is possible, therefore, that there may be guests from other countries & of mixed age groups at your accommodation. Accommodation Maintenance: Certain accommodation featured in this guide is operational all year round. From time to time it will be necessary for certain facilities to be withdrawn for general maintenance purposes. Water & electricity supplies may be interrupted whilst this essential maintenance is undertaken. Cleaning: The standard & frequency of cleaning & linen change can vary from resort to resort & property to property depending on general standards in resort & the rating of your accommodation. For instance, cleaning & changing of linen in Greece & mainland Spain will be of an acceptable standard, but it may not be as often as other resorts. Exclusive Properties: At the time of this guide going to print (September 2008) all properties featuring the exclusive logo are correct, however during the course of the year this is subject to change. Please note, exclusivity refers to exclusivity within the UK market only. Safety & Hygiene: Your health & safety is of paramount concern to us, especially if children are involved. In addition to monitoring the hygiene & safety standards in all the hotel & apartments that we use, it is appropriate that we bring to your attention the need for you to be careful & to take necessary precautions whilst overseas & we need your help & cooperation with this. We would ask you to pay close attention to the following information, together with any other information we, our agents or suppliers, provide to you before you go, during your flight & when you arrive in your destination & at your hotel. It is most important that you familiarise yourself with this information & any other information you are given or on display, because not only do we want you to have a great holiday but we want you to have a safe holiday. Swimming Pools & Water Features: Some of our hotels & apartments welcome local people & other holidaymakers not residing at the property to use the swimming pool & facilities within the accommodation. This can lead to pool areas becoming busy at times, for example sunbathing space & available sun loungers may become limited. Please make use of the pool shower facilities before swimming - this helps to prevent any potential infections & helps to keep the pool clean. Every pool is different & most hotels/apartments do not employ life guards, so you are strongly recommended to familiarise yourself with the pool layout, identifying the deep & shallow ends before using. Do not use the pool after dark or when the pool is closed, even if the pool has underwater lights. You should never swim when you have been drinking alcohol. Whilst some of our hotels & apartments have water features, such as slides or flumes, which may appear in our photography, generally we do not recommend these are used. It is possible such features may have been replaced or removed since the photography was taken. Overseas Safety Standards: Although the accommodation featured does operate to its own country’s standards, regrettably the safety standards & regulations overseas may not be of the same level that we enjoy in the UK. For instance, the design & height of balconies may differ. The setting & enforcement of local regulations is a matter for the Authorities of the country & the foreign supplier of the services concerned. We are working with hoteliers to improve standards wherever possible. You should familiarise yourself with fire procedures, including emergency exits in your accommodation, the swimming pool(s) area & any unfamiliar cooking appliances. If in doubt, ask your representative or an appropriate member of staff. Out & About: Due to rough terrain & uneven surfaces, we recommend that you are extra careful & vigilant when visiting temples & other sites of interest & when crossing roads. Crimes against people & property are a fact of life throughout the world & you have the same responsibility for your own safety as you do at home. In some places the local police may not be very cooperative or interested when you report a theft or need insurance confirmation so always take care of your property. It is recommended not to approach cats & dogs & other animals as these may carry the rabies disease which can be passed on through bites & scratches. Please exercise caution before entering the sea as the seabed is not even & changes in depth. The sea is capable of springing surprises & we have not inspected the beach or seabed for its safety. YOUR RESORT Representatives: When it comes to knowing what’s what & being helpful we believe our Reps are the best in the business. They’re thoroughly trained in making sure you have a great holiday, added to which they are local experts & their knowledge is at your disposal. They make frequent visits to our hotels & apartments at regular times. Our Reps are always on hand to help resolve any particular problem whilst on holiday. If you have a complaint they will need to know about it & will do their best to solve the problem & minimise any inconvenience. This will also help us to improve the holiday experience for all our customers. There may be times when your Rep is unable to solve a particular problem immediately. While appreciating that this may be upsetting for customers, Club 18-30 does expect them to behave in a reasonable manner towards its staff. Consequently, should any customer act in a threatening or intimidatory manner towards Club 18-30 staff, we shall have no hesitation in taking appropriate legal measures. Resorts: In low season, resorts can be quiet with some facilities in limited supply, whereas in high season the resort is sure to be full, with facilities in full swing. However, there may be occasions where hoteliers or providers of services withdraw a facility temporarily or otherwise due to lack of demand, especially at the start or end of the season.

Conditions in Holiday Resorts: If there is a specific problem affecting your accommodation, you should report this to the accommodation staff, &, if necessary, to our appointed representative who will do his or her best to help resolve this. Insects - ants, mosquitoes & cockroaches for example - are common in hot countries. The sight of such creatures can be off-putting if you are not used to seeing them but they are usually harmless & they do not mean your accommodation is dirty or unhygienic. Local Information: Please note, that areas surrounding your holiday accommodation do not form part of your package holiday & have not been inspected. These include, for example, the sea, beaches, roads & mountains. You are responsible for taking reasonable care for your own safety & the safety of your party. Local events, religious festivities & public holidays are likely to influence the provision of services & facilities within the hotels & around holiday resorts at certain times. Customers are advised that there may be local laws in the country they are intending to visit that restrict alcohol sale & consumption to individuals of a minimum age, which may in some cases be higher than 17 years. In addition, there may be local laws specifying a minimum age for access into clubs/bars/pubs. Where Club 1830 organises an excursion, which includes provision of alcoholic beverages, a soft drink option will be available for non-drinkers & those under the local legal minimum age for alcohol consumption. Restrictive legislation against smoking in public places is becoming increasingly common in destinations worldwide. You may find your holiday resort operates enforced smoking restrictions in areas including, but not limited to, enclosed public areas such as bars, pubs & restaurants. Fines may be imposed for breaching regulations. To find out more visit the FCO website www.fco.gov.uk. Tropical Hazards: Sun - The closer you are to the tropics, the stronger the effect of the sun. Do not overdo sunbathing when you first arrive. You should also be aware of heat exhaustion until you acclimatise. Avoid over-exertion, drink plenty of non-alcoholic fluids & only drink bottled water. Stomach upsets - It is still a relatively common occurrence to suffer gastric illness when travelling abroad & being exposed to a different environment. There are many ways you can reduce the possibility of being affected, such as, not eating undercooked food & avoiding ice in drinks. Insects - Mosquitoes can be a particular nuisance, especially after rainfall. Insect repellent is strongly recommended. Driving: Laws, licensing requirements & age limits vary throughout the world. We recommend you check with your travel agent, or the relevant embassy or consulate. Water sports & Sporting Activities: We refer to a number of water sports & other sporting activities within the guide, none of these are either owned or operated by Club 18-30 & we cannot guarantee that they are maintained or operated with the customer’s safety in mind. We would ask that you take all reasonable precautions to protect yourself & your party whilst on holiday & would recommend that you only use companies who demonstrate good safety practices. You should ensure water sports & other similar sporting activities you wish to take part in are covered by your own holiday insurance as some activities may be considered hazardous & are specifically excluded or have special conditions by some insurance companies.
