The last edition of the national gold expeditions for this year took place in the Aberdares from 24th to 28th November. The venture involved over 250 participants from 10 Award institutions who braced the rain and the muddy conditions to prove that they are up to the task of covering the more than 80 Km journey in 4 days. The route saw them go through the Aberdare ranges on the Othaya side and experience the steep terrain that characterizes the ranges in the midst of rains on a daily
basis and muddy conditions of the route. Despite this the participants were not deterred and were in high spirits from start to finish. Congratulations to all the participants.
