as a high school field hockey coach. She is also working in the administration office busting kids who are late to school. Pierce Cohen moved back to Houston after graduating from the University of Texas, where he had previously accepted a job at Chevron working with the subsea facilities team. Matthew Evans graduated last May with his Finance degree (B.B.A.) from SMU, and is currently finishing up his management science/MIS degree (B.S.) and engineering management graduate degree (M.S.) at SMU. He will graduate with his B.S. in May 2013, and will graduate with his M.S. in June/July, 2013. Jared Gooding graduated with a BFA in Lighting Design and Technology from The Theatre School at DePaul University. He is staying in Chicago working as a freelance lighting designer/electrician and also doing carpentry/ metal work for some theatres around town. He is now a company member with MPAACT Theatre Company and serving at the Technical Director for its Solo Jam Series this season. Recent achievements include
opening his first post grad Chicago design with MPAACT’s production of Blackademics, and being the Assistant Lighting Designer on Court Theatre’s production of August Wilson’s Jitney. He will be teaching lighting design to high school students with CPS’s after school matters program stating this winter, and he is also still DJ’ing at bars on Chicago’s north side on the weekends. Taylor Hendrix graduated from the University of Alabama in May and is now in law school at the South Texas College of Law. Roll Tide! Eric Hurst is pursuing a degree in physics, after transferring to the University of Houston last year. He is also currently presiding as the president of the Society of Physics Students at the University of Houston. Andrew Klein graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Alabama in May and spent the summer backpacking through Europe. He is now enjoying his first year at the University of Texas Law School. Sasha Levine graduated from Northwestern in June in International Relations and Spanish Literature.

TCH Women’s Pavilion Tour for Houston Area Alumni Please join fellow Kinkaid Alumni on Monday, February 4th at 6:30 p.m. for a behind the scenes tour of the new Texas Children’s Hospital Pavilion for Women. After that she traveled for a couple of months to Portugal, Spain, Greece, Switzerland, and Israel (over the “summer”) before starting her job in August. She is working as a broker for a commercial real estate firm called Urban Retail Properties in Chicago-living downtown and loving it! Jessica Messier graduated from the University of Texas in May. She is in the MD/PhD program at Baylor College of Medicine. This summer she traveled to Southeast Asia with Katherine Verity. They visited Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam and are roommates. Katherine is a first year medical student at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston! She also traveled to Southeast Asia during the summer. Her stops included Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
Kelly Putterman graduated from Texas Christian University in May. She is still in Fort Worth working at Baylor All Saints as a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Mary Katherine Rathmell graduated from Southern Methodist University in May with a BBA in Marketing, took a trip to Thailand, and now she moved has back to Houston. She took a job with the Energy Department at Lockton, where she is now an Assistant Account Manager. Arun Singh is working in private equity in San Francisco. He graduated from UC Berkley in May and is enjoying northern California. Katie Skarke graduated from the University of Texas in May. She now works as an Account Coordinator for McDonald’s at Moroch in Dallas. She has been with the company since June and is really enjoying her position.
Frances Smith is currently in graduate school at the University of Texas earning her masters in accounting. She will graduate in December and will begin working as a tax accountant at Ernst and Young in New York City starting in July. Christin Snodgrass graduated from the University of Texas in May and is now living in Houston working in events and marketing at the law firm Vinson and Elkins. Lawren Tilney graduated Phi Betta Kappa from Harvard in May. She accepted a job with Disney working on its Executive Strategy Team. She is really enjoying work and Los Angeles. Becca Traber is in her first year of a PhD program in Political Science at Yale. She graduated from Reed College in May and then made the move across the country to New Haven. After graduating in May from Rhodes College, Kristin Wilkinson remained at Rhodes in Memphis, Tennessee to serve as an Assistant Director of Admission at Rhodes College. Her territories include Alabama, Florida, and all international applicants. She will be touring South America Fall 2013 on a recruitment trip, putting that Spanish major to good use! Work has kept her extremely busy but travel season keeps things fun and exciting. Beyond that, she is just dealing with bills and poor rental management - but isn’t everyone! Julia Wood graduated from Texas A&M University in May. After an internship last summer she accepted a marketing job with the Houston Sewell Audi dealership. She has been working with them since August and is enjoying work and being back in Houston.
