Amir Mirabi serves as Governor Perry’s Director of Small Business and has recently been appointed by the Governor to the business school advisory boards at both Texas A&M and UT. When he’s not out travelling the world recruiting businesses to our great state, Amir enjoys semi-bohemian downtime in his new East Austin digs, which conveniently enough are perched right on the golf course! If you’re ever in Austin or at the Capitol, look him up, he’d be happy to treat you to a coffee and convo – both highly sugarcoated of course.

David Curtis and wife Alexandra have been busy and David reports: “In April I finished the last of my Architecture Registration exams (seven exams total!), so I will now be licensed in New York state. Also in April we went to visit with Andrew Miller and his family in Austin. Good times playing golf, BBQ etc. This summer we are heading to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic in mid-June for a wedding. In July, Alexandra and I are going to Zurich since she qualified for her company’s (German company Allianz) Olympics that they stage every four years for swimming. We will turn this into a holiday and drive around Austria as well. In late August we are meeting up with Alexandra’s parents in Kauai for a week. It is halfway between New York City and Sydney, Australia, so we thought it would an ideal place to hang out.”
