The Ames Endowment for Faculty Enrichment

Established in 2001 by The Fondren Foundation to honor Fondren Foundation Trustee and Kinkaid Life Trustee David M. Underwood ‘54. This chair is currently held by Spanish Teacher Esteban Longoria.

The Brown Endowment for English Studies Established in 1972 by The Brown Foundation to benefit the study of English and to underwrite the Brown Chair in English currently held by Kate Lambert, Chairman of the Kinkaid English Department.

John & Dorothy Cooper Arts Endowment Established in 1979 by the many Kinkaid friends of Mr. Cooper, former Kinkaid Headmaster, and his wife to endow the arts programs.

Cullen Endowment for Mathematics & Science Established in 1974 by The Cullen Foundation in support of mathematics and science programs.

Fondren Endowment for Foreign Language Established in 1990 by The Fondren Foundation in support of the foreign language department.

Fondren Endowment for History Studies Established in 1958 by The Fondren Foundation in support of Kinkaid’s history department.

The Lenny Fund Established in 2012 by the family and friends of Lenny Katz ‘84 to fund capital improvements for the Lenny C. Katz Performing Arts Center.

The Monteleone Chair in Men’s Athletics Established in 2001 by Denise & William A. Monteleone, Jr., parents of Will ‘02, to endow the men’s athletics department. This chair is held by Director of Athletics, Physical Education and Wellness Bob Beeman.

Parker Endowment for Mathematics Established by Foster & Mildred Parker and their sons, Robert ‘61 and Jeffry ‘62, in support of the mathematics program.

Abbott & Leslie Sprague Chair in Character Education & Community Service Established in 2001 by Abbott & Leslie Sprague, parents of Coco ‘07, Andrew ‘08, Emmy ‘12, Allison ‘14 and Phin ‘17, to underwrite a new position and a new chair for the teaching of Character Education throughout the School and the continuation of Kinkaid’s extensive community service program.
