Leo Robba Leo Robba has a Master of Fine Art from Newcastle University with a thesis exploring the topic ‘Regionalism in Australian Landscape Painting’. He is currently completing his PhD – ‘A Changing View: Environment and the Contested Space in Australian Landscape Painting’ – at the Australian National University. Leo Robba graduated from the Queensland College of Art in 1982 and moved to Sydney in 1983. He has had over 30 solo exhibitions in Australia and New Zealand and has taken part in numerous group exhibitions in Australia and internationally. His work is represented in many public collections including, Maitland Regional Gallery, Brisbane City Hall Gallery, National Gallery of Australia, New England Regional Art Gallery and Museum, Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery and the University of Newscastle.
