About King of Prussia District King of Prussia District (KOP-BID) is a unique not-for-profit organization, founded in 2010 by Upper Merion Township Ordinance, to act as a catalyst for economic development and job growth in KOP. KOP-BID serves over 300 commercial property owners in an area covering more than 1,900 acres. KOP-BID’s charge is to work with UMT and commercial property owners on strategies that: elevate property values; attract economic development; grow jobs; raise the profile of the community; instill resident, corporate and investor interest; and, ultimately, help grow revenues for UMT, the County and the Commonwealth. KOP-BID strategically markets KOP throughout Philadelphia and the Mid-Atlantic region – promoting KOP’s incredible assets as the leader in retail, dining, hospitality, commercial office and employment.
