16 TALLY HO HOLIDAYS
We may all know the landscapes and wildlife of the New Forest National Park but there is so much more for you to explore. We’ll start with Exbury Gardens, created by Lionel de Rothschild in the 1920’s, where you’ll discover 200 acres of horticultural variety. The magnolias and camellias should be bursting into flower and early rhododendrons and azaleas showing their spring colours. A visit to Buckler’s Hard is a must. Enjoy a 30 minute tranquil cruise along the River Beaulieu and imagine the hive of ship building activity that supplied Nelson’s Navy. Our final treat is Beaulieu National Car Museum with over 250 vehicles telling the story of motoring from World Land Speed Record Breakers to Formula 1 racers. Beaulieu Hotel, Brockenhurst HHH Formerly a coaching inn, the Beaulieu Hotel is surrounded by open heath land and New Forest wildlife. You can expect warm hospitality and exceptional service and the lovely rooms are all equipped with TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The cosy restaurant has beautiful views of the moorland and New Forest beyond.
