WOMANHOOD

Hard-Core Experiences & Quick-Tips From Women Who Overcame

As my sisters and I matured, my mother shared a poignant chapter in her life miscarrying twins after the birth of our youngest sister She recounted the painful experience of holding her premature babies lifeless. Despite tears welling in her eyes as she narrated, what stood before me was a woman fortified with God's strength, resilient in life's challenges.

After hearing her story, I wondered how she endured such heartache and raised us without crumbling under the weight of grief. Over time, I discovered that God provides the strength to navigate what seems impossible In my eyes, Mom embodied the essence of "steel magnolias," possessing both beauty and strength She would say, "God blessed me with three beautiful children despite what happened He’s in control and knows what's best for me And I now know I couldn't have handled more children " The lessons from her journey are fivefold:

1) Reveal your scars in the right rooms as a testimony

2) Cultivate gratitude for what you presently have

3) Trust God for strength to move forward

4) Acknowledge that God knows your breaking point

5) Declare that nothing happens without God's permission.

Perhaps my mother's miscarriage served as a testament for others. We may not ever fully understand its purpose, but she chose to elevate her faith and trust in God's control. Despite the pain, she didn't let it make her bitter or break her relationship with God. Whatever challenges you face, remember that there is nothing in your womanhood that God cannot guide you through Take heart, my sisters, for God's love and care surround you in everything you face
