Kinetic designed a portfolio collateral piece that capitalized on a theme in his work: Perceptions. Clients first see a piece of art through a small window that appears to be one thing. They then turn it over to find that it is just one small part of a bigger picture.

Kampgrounds of America has welcomed millions of campers over the past 45 years and has developed a reputation for unsurpassed service and fun.

KOA needed distinct execution of their branding campaign and promise of “Great People. Great Camping.™” A distinctive, informative and fun newsletter was Kinetic’s answer. Each highlighted the features and benefits of a specific campground—and underscored KOA’s leadership in the marketplace. The result: a 35 percent increase in reservations for campgrounds that had a newsletter.

City Brew was a fast-growing local coffee roaster looking to expand its presence outside of Montana. They knew their products were top-notch, but weren’t sure the best way to compete on a national scale against larger, more well-known companies.

Focusing on the culture of City Brew, Kinetic launched an all-out campaign to raise marketplace awareness. Changes to the company’s website, exciting mini-campaigns and wow-worthy presentation materials came first. Next, Kinetic facilitated partnerships between City Brew and other companies locally and out of state. Then we worked with City Brew to introduce a Montana Series of coffees that captured the look and feel of Big Sky Country.

The result: In addition to significantly increased sales in their own kiosks and brick-andmortar facilities, City Brew is gaining momentum in the national market place.

Nothing stays little for long in Big Sky Country, and Grains of Montana is no exception. This family-owned fast casual restaurant wanted to grow their franchise and bakery businesses as fast as the wheat on their Montana farm.

Touting the delicious bread was the easy part—finding the right niche in a crowded marketplace was a little tougher. Kinetic worked with Grains to enhance their brand presence and position them for a national field. Embracing the feel of a small-town Montana café from the 1950’s and staying true the family’s heritage, we redesigned everything from the carry-out menus to the wall art and helped to create a template for future franchise operations.

With restaurants open in Boise, Idaho and Biloxi, Mississippi and more slated to open across the U.S., Grains of Montana is well on its way to rising above the competition.
