2020 SUMMER CAMP PREVIEW

When school’s out, Cape Coral Parks & Recreation is open for fun and adventure! A wide variety of weekly summer camps and recreation programs will be offered from June 8 - August 7 including: SWIMMING LESSONS & SPLASH/JR LIFEGUARD CAMPS at Sun Splash and the Yacht Club Pool n Both of Cape Coral’s aquatic facilities offer swim lessons (6 mo-12 yrs) plus water-based day camps (6-15 yrs) that may include games, crafts, water safety skills and more.

STAYCATION CAMP at Christa McAuliffe (5-14 yrs)

n This non-traveling camp includes plenty of fun indoor and outdoor activities, guest speakers, arts & crafts, as well as breakfast and lunch daily at a reduced rate.

SUPER SCIENCE CAMP at Four Freedoms Park (6-12 yrs)

PRESCHOOL SUMMER CAMP

n Four Freedoms Park has partnered with Super Science and Amazing Arts to offer weekly specialty camps.

n Different themed camps each week that are designed to teach and entertain pre-school aged children.

MARTIAL ARTS SUMMER CAMP

at Four Freedoms Park (6-12 yrs)

SPECIALTY CAMPS at the Yacht Club (4-14 yrs)

n Taught by a local Sensei, participants will learn the traditional Okinawan style of karate.

n Various offerings for different ages including Beach Buddies Exploration (4-8 yrs), Beach Bums Exploration (9-14 yrs), and Adventure Camp (8-13 yrs).

ECO-ADVENTURE NATURE CAMP

at Rotary Park (7-12 yrs) n Featuring weekly environmental themes, children will enjoy plenty of indoor and outdoor activities such as hiking thru the swamp, learning about live creatures in the park and participating in cooperative games and crafts.

SUMMER CAMPTACULAR (5-14 yrs)

Choice of two (2) locations: Wm. Austen Youth Center (K-5th only)

and Oasis Elementary n Participants will take two field trips per week plus enjoy guest speakers, free morning snack and lunch on non-trip days, indoor and outdoor activities and more!

FINE ARTS FOR KIDS CAMP

at the Art Center (7-12 yrs) n Featuring exciting weekly art themes, participants will experience the creative process in the fine arts and crafts with activities including pottery, mixed media crafts, drawing, painting, exhibiting and more!
