OUR STORY We are a small group of dedicated artisans who have been making shoes in our rural, upstate New York town since the early 1990s. Our shoes are like our surroundings - beautiful in their simplicity and organic in their form. We use American made materials and assemble all of our shoes in house and by hand. With a focus on comfort, durability and quality American materials, we are proud to create shoes that reflect your values and lifestyle.

QUALITY CRAFTSMANSHIP The Aurora Shoe Company was founded on the principles of quality handmade craftsmanship. We make all of our shoes by hand, one step at a time. It’s an art form and a tradition that we’re proud to be a part of.
LOCALLY SOURCED Made in the USA from American materials, our footwear is created using the best we can find. From our high-grade, full grain Horween Leather uppers to our shock absorbing Vibram soles, we pair quality materials with handmade workmanship to create shoes you’ll love to wear for years to come.
RENEWABLE We are pleased to offer repair services for the shoes we produce. If your Aurora Shoes are in need of new soles or a bit of repair stitching, send them to the shop and we’ll have them back on your feet as soon as possible.
