Mid Kerry GAA

Mid Kerry U-13 U-Can Club Skills Competition Winners U-13 U Can Club skills competition took place in Beaufort GAA grounds last Thursday Evening. This is a Clubs skills event, with 3 in each Team taking part. All Clubs in the Division took part, with the Winners coming from Milltown Castlemaine Team made up of Declan O Connor, Shane O Connor and Conor Spillane. Individual Top Scorer went to Shane O Connor Milltown Castlemaine. Milltown Castlemaine go on to The County UCan Skills Final next Thursday Evening 20th April in Austin Stacks Park at 5.30pm and the very best of Luck to them. Congratulations to the winners and to all Teams who took part on the night. This skills Test is a vital part of a players progression and really helps to develop both sides left and right leg and hand coordination, and is a very good Benchmark to see if they are working and practicing the skills of the game in both club training and on there own. I would advice all clubs to run this at least 3 times a year, in April, again in June, and last one in September and you should really see a vast improvement in all aspects of the game.
