Colm To Sign Books At Eason
IT’S been hailed as the best-ever in the event’s 28-year history and the Fossa Fashion Extravaganza’s success was due in no small part to two GAA stars turned catwalk models. Fresh from leading his team to glory in the All-Ireland Minor Football Final, captain fantastic and Minor Star Footballer of the Year David Clifford dazzled on home ground as he, together with fellow Kerry GAA legend, the dapper Aidan O’Mahony, exchanged the pitch for the catwalk. Dedicated followers of fashion converged on the
five-star Europe Hotel & Resort for the thoroughly enjoyable event, which was co-ordinated from start to finish by Claire Houlihan. The annual show is organised every year in aid of community organisations by a team including Claire, her husband James and another Fossa native, Tim Kissane. Some 400 fashionistas kept a keen eye on proceedings and the best-dressed lady prize, sponsored by Keane’s Jewellers, Killarney, was won by glamorous Hazel Scott.
THIS Sunday, Eason Killarney and Tralee will host book signings with Kerry GAA legend Colm Cooper. Colm will be on hand
to sign copies of his book Gooch: The Autobiography at 3pm in Eason, Main Street, Killarney, and at 11am in Eason, Tralee.
