Putting Tourism On The Map KERRY COUNTY COUNCIL’S Tourism Unit in association with the Destination Kerry Tourism Forum hosted a one-day showcase of the Kerry tourism product last week. The showcase, held at The Malton Hotel, was open to anyone in the local tourism industry. “It aims to create a greater awareness of the major attractions in the county including all activities, facilities, accommodation and services, where they are located and when and how they are accessed,” said Joan McCarthy of the tourism unit. “It was an opportunity for people in the sector to meet other tourism providers, share experiences and network on a one-to-one basis.”
