The Wall of Wine: a Coveted Wine Collection! 70 Bottles of High-scoring, High-value Wines!
On display during the Winemaker Reception at Saturday’s Grand Cru, the Wall of Wine is a coveted wine collection assembled by wine collector Stan Fridstein, a dear friend of KIDS Center. His mission every year: to curate an incredible collection of wines that would make anyone swoon! With the help of several Bend friends who generously donate from their personal cellars, this year’s Wall of Wine is OUTSTANDING. With an emphasis on reds from Oregon, Washington, California, France, and Italy, these hand-selected bottles will elevate your personal wine collection. The Wall of Wine is a fantastic offering at this year’s Live Auction.
Each bottle is valued over $50. Eleven bottles received 95+ point reviews by wine critics (we’ve bolded these high-scoring wines on the opposite page).
Highlights:
• A “Baker’s Dozen” 13-bottle red collection of the highly acclaimed Long Shadows wines from Washington State–six of these bottles received 95+ points from major wine critics.
• A remarkable showing from the Willamette Valley including 94, 95, and 96-point scoring Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
• A succulent representation of bold reds from California, wines with finesse from Burgundy and the Rhone Valley, and vintage Italian reds that will be a delight to open.
