The dramatic revelation connects the past and the present, and the discussion between collective and personal experiences through cultural symbol forms such as art. 캔버스의 대용으로 사용하는 차가운 철판 위에 양쪽 소매 하단을 실로 꿰매 이어진 검정색 겨울 코트는 마치 절박한 위험 속에서 자신을 방어하려는 인간의 몸짓과 같다. 인간의 육체와 상처를 연상시키는 코트 위에 억압하듯 놓여진 무거운 철근은 형식적이고 권위적인 보편주의의 상징이며 잔인하고 무시무시한 쇠갈고리는 인위적인 냉정함, 폭력, 억압 등을 암시한다. 이 작품은 쿠넬리스가 우손 갤러리 전시를 위해 2013년 최초로 한국에 내한 했던 기간 동안 제작된 작품이다.
