HABITAT’S LAS VEGAS PARTY SUPPORTS HOUSING PROJECTS
Enjoy a spectacular evening of glitz, glamor and gambling (not the real kind, sorry) at the 20th annual Habitat for Humanity of the Upper Keys’ Cocktail Party. On Friday, March 10, at 6:30 p.m., Habitat is hosting a Las Vegas-themed silver anniversary party at the Cheeca Lodge & Spa in Islamorada.

Guests can enjoy a variety of food stations, unlimited beer and wine, dancing and gaming tables during the event. An Elvis lookalike contest will add to the fun and festivities.
“This fundraiser is the most significant annual event for our organization,” said Lindsay Fast, executive director of the Habitat affiliate. “We are especially thankful to our gold sponsors — CBT Construction & Development, Riva Motorsports & Marine, Cheeca Lodge & Spa, and American Caribbean Real Estate. We couldn’t hold this event without their generous support.”
Fast said work is underway to build nine more affordable homes in Islamorada on property. All proceeds from the event go to Habitat’s building fund, meaning the dollars stay local.
Highlighting the Las Vegas theme, gaming tables and roulette will be available for guests to use their special Habitat “chips” included with admission. Live and silent auction items will include jewelry, vacation stays, art, fishing trips and a jet ski. The organizing committee is still seeking items for the silent auction.
Tickets for the party are $225 per person. A table for 10 can be reserved in advance for $3,000, which includes reserved seating and admission. A limited number of tickets are available on a first come/first serve basis for the preparty VIP reception and are $400 per person, including a reserved seat at and admission to the party.
A special VIP package may be purchased in advance for $4,000, all inclusive: admission for 10 to the VIP reception and admission and a reserved table for 10 at the party.
Tickets and more information are available at habitatupperkeys. org/lasvegas2023, via mail to Habitat for Humanity of the Upper Keys, P.O. Box 2151, Key Largo, FL 33037, or at 305-453-0050. More information is at Facebook.com/ habitatupperkeys.
