Staff in the Spotlight: Katherine Saunders is KCL’s new Collection Development and Cataloging Librarian. As a lover of history, she is very excited to be in South Carolina’s oldest inland settlement on a daily basis. She is a recent graduate of the University of South Carolina’s MLIS program (Go Cocks!). Some of her favorite genres include historical fiction, young adult anything, and biographies. In her down time, she enjoys spending time with her beloved pets and experimenting in the kitchen. Katherine hopes that she will be able to provide the residents of Kershaw County with every sort of book that they could ever hope for, and then some. Her favorite book of the moment is Tyrannosaurus Rex vs. Edna, The Very First Chicken.
