CELEBRATING THE TRADITIONS OF THE WEST.

A total of 17 nationally recognized chuckwagons will set up camp in the infield and will compete on Saturday in the World Championship Food Competition sponsored by Albertson’s Market. Lunch will be served at 12:00 noon at each of the chuckwagons.

Each trail or ranch wagon is judged on authenticity, food preparation, and taste. Categories include meat, potatoes, beans, bread, and dessert. There is over $13,000 in cash prizes to be won by the wagons along with the notoriety of winning the World Championship at Ruidoso Downs.

Join us in the infield as six chuckwagons serve a full breakfast and compete for the coveted prize. Tickets are required.
