Music Headliners
The All American CowboyFest presents top musical acts appearing on five different stages throughout the festival Thursday through Sunday.
Kevin is an Amarillo, Texas native that has released five studio albums and has charted Billboard Top 40 singles. He has written many top songs including Sammy Kershaw’s “Beer, Bait & Ammo,” Mark Chesnutt’s “The Lord Loves the Drinkin’ Man,” and Montgomery Gentry’s “Long Line of Losers.” It will make Kevin’s second appearance at Ruidoso Downs Race Track. Kevin Fowler kicks off the musical entertainment for the weekend on Thursday night with special guest Will Bannister beginning at 7:00 PM. The grandstand vendors will be open starting at 5:00 PM, including the food court vendors.

Friday night’s concert features Aaron Watson and Coby Carter at 7:00 PM. Aaron has recorded several albums including “The Underdog” which went to number-one on country charts in 2015. He is also a native of Amarillo, Texas, and appears for the first time at the race track.
On Saturday afternoon, Grammy-nominated performer Michael Martin Murphey will perform on the track stage at 12:00 Noon. He is considered one of the nation’s top performers of western music, and has six gold albums to his credit. Originally from Dallas, Texas, Michael is a prominent voice for western horsemen, ranchers and cowboys across the country.



The Saturday night
dance features two regular artists to the Cowboy Symposium, Dave Alexander and Jake Hooker starting at 7:00 PM in the big tent.
