Make sure you understand how over-the-counter stock trading works. Penny stocks are not traded on major exchanges, and are instead traded "over-the-counter." Instead of trading at a single price, you will have to buy penny stocks at an "ask" price and sell them at your own "bid" price. Ask prices will vary between sellers, and covering the spread between the ask and bid prices is necessary to recognize a gain on your investment.
