Record Crowd Enjoys Downs After Dark on Millionaires Row Our summer series of events was out of the Roy Pickerill '75 and Tory Stanley '10 starting gates in style on Saturday, June 15, as over 90 Wesleyan alumni and friends enjoyed Downs After Dark on Millionaires Row at Churchill Downs. It was our largest-ever gathering for what has become a staple event on our alumni calendar. Guests traveled from Ohio, Tennessee, Indiana and Kentucky with representation from the classes of 1967 through 2011.
Dr. Lee Dew Remembered Members of the Sierra Club gathered with Aloma Dew and friends and colleagues in April to dedicate a tree in memory of Dr. Lee Dew (1931-2018), professor emeritus of history. The tree is located in front of the Yu Hak Hahn Center for the Sciences.

A tree planting ceremony in memory of Dr. Gus E. Paris and his incredible legacy took place during the June meeting of the Kentucky Wesleyan College Board of Trustees. "Mr. KWC" served Wesleyan in numerous capacities for many years. He passed away on Jan. 12. The tree was planted next to the Minerva statue.
