& More! YOUR SUPPORT HELPS THE KIDS AND FAMILIES AT KENNEDY KRIEGER #FOTMD

Please support us on

Join us this GivingTuesday, November 28, in supporting Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Patient Food Pantry. The pantry provides free meal kits for patients’ families. Each kit contains ingredients for one meal serving four people, plus healthy budget-conscious recipes and additional resources. With close to 6% of the patients of our medical clinic experiencing food insecurity, your donation will help us support more kids and families experiencing food insecurity at home. To learn more or make your gift online, visit: KennedyKrieger.org/GivingTuesday

We’re honored to support Kennedy Krieger’s Festival of Trees.

Caring for the community starts with providing support for the people who live in it. So we’re proud to work with Kennedy Krieger. Together, we can inspire and build better lives and communities.

Thank you so very much for joining us for our 34th annual Festival of Trees event! We’re excited to be back at the Maryland Fairgrounds in full force to usher in another holiday season. Festival of Trees is Kennedy Krieger’s largest fundraising event of the year. The proceeds help children and teens in our schools, clinical programs, hospital, research and community programs. Did you know that Kennedy Krieger serves more than 27,000 patients, students and their families each year? By attending Festival of Trees, buying a tree or other designed item, or participating in the auction—you truly brighten not only the holiday season, but the lives, of the children and families we serve. Please check out all the designer-decorated trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses and, of course, the shopping marketplace. The auction and raffle items this year are simply amazing—from fun experiences to sports memorabilia to restaurant packages—find it all at Festival of Trees! And you can shop, bid and track your auction bids right from your smartphone or computer, any time of the day or night! If you brought a new, unwrapped toy to our toy drive to share with a child in need, we thank you! There is still time to purchase a toy online from our Amazon Wish List and have it sent directly to Kennedy Krieger. Visit the Toy Drive section of the Festival of Trees website at KennedyKrieger.org/Toy for more details. During this season of gratitude and giving, thank you so much for helping kids from right here in Maryland, the mid-Atlantic, throughout the U.S. and across the world. We’re so very grateful for your support. Wishing you and yours a happy and safe holiday season, with plenty of time to enjoy the Festival fun!

ACCESSIBILITY ENHANCEMENTS

In an effort to make Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Festival of Trees more accessible to the children and families we serve, the following accommodations are available: • We have accessible restrooms in the North Pole (North Hall.) These facilities can be accessed in the back of the North Pole (North Hall) to the right of the Fun House next to the other additional restrooms. For those in need of a larger, private restroom (specifically for those who may require access to change an adult), please inquire at the Information Booth. • We have a “Calming Corral” or sensory room. This is an area for individuals who need to take a break from all the sights and sounds of Festival of Trees. The entrance to the Calming Corral is located in the back of the North Pole (North Hall) between the additional restrooms and the Fun House. (This also has individual “rooms” that are an ideal space for mothers looking for a quiet/private place to nurse.) • We have a wheelchair-accessible carousel so that everyone can enjoy the festival fun! • We have priority seating areas for individuals with disabilities. These areas are located in the food court. If you have any questions or need additional accommodations, please visit our representatives at the Information Booth located at the Festival of Trees’ Main Entrance.
