O

ne of the biggest positives of park home living has always been the sense of community that is prevalent on so many residential parks across the country, and the response to these awards is evidence of that. Every nomination deserves a mention and because all the nominees have made, and continue to make, a very real difference to people’s lives, every nomination has been included in our ‘thank you’ roll of honour. In addition every nominator and every nominee will be able to claim a £20 discount on their insurance premium if they are insured with PBIS – either against their next renewal or against a new policy being issued.

AND THE WINNER IS...

Pride of place goes to TREVOR SALT of UPTON GLEN PARK, who was nominated by JANE OFFER. Dave was a larger than life character who made a very real difference to the community organising events, ensuring nobody was ever left out and embracing the challenge of Covid keeping everyone engaged and sane! His friendship and kindness, his willingness to help, his amusing anecdotes, his home baking, his home grown potatoes and his smiling face will never be forgotten. Peter, thank you for your lovely nomination. Caroline Foster - Thanks to LESLEY EVE of DEWLANDS PARK for nominating her neighbour CAROLINE FOSTER who she describes as ‘an angel’. Caroline set up the residents’ association, since when the whole atmosphere of the park has changed. “We have so much fun and laughter,” she says. Caroline knows the name of everyone on the park and helps lots of residents in a
