Formerly a tour professional and now the Assistant Golf Coach at Indiana University, Jamie Broce has quickly made a statement as a PGA Assistant Professional in Indiana. He finished as the top Professional at the Mobile ProShop Northern Open, at the Monticello Open where he fired a 66, and most impressively at the Indiana Open Championship. With rounds of 69-66-7070=275 (-13) in the State Open, he was just edged out by his IU team member Chase Wright who finished at 273. For the second year in a row, Broce finished in 2nd at the Callaway Assistant Championship and qualified for the Callaway National Assistant Championship. And to wrap up the Indiana season, he placed T3rd with fellow PGA Assistant Chris Clemens at the Callaway PGA Team.
